U.S. stocks pulled back Tuesday, retreating from all-time highs and the psychologically significant 5,000 level for the Nasdaq Composite reached during the previous session.
In the absence of major economic reports, investors turned their attention to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus speech to U.S. Congress. The stock market, aside from large scale manipulations, is statistical noise. You can assign causality with impunity to it, because no one can prove you wrong.

I thought that whenever anything bad happened it was the fault of Geo Bush or Globull Warming?!?!?!

Market Watch headline:
"U.S. stocks retreat from records after Netanyahu speech"What actually happened:
To: FlingWingFlyer
Stocks had been down for most of the day. I doubt the Prime Minister had anything to do with the market psychology.
