President Barack Obama today introduced his plan for a progressive takeover of state and local policing.
We have a great opportunity to really transform how we think about community law enforcement relations, he said Monday.
We need to seize that opportunity this is something that Im going to stay very focused on in the months to come, Obama said, as he touted a new interim report from his Task Force on 21st Century Policing.
Obama also instructed his media allies to help a federalization of policing, and to sideline critics of centralized policing rules. I expect our friends in the media to really focus on whats in this report and pay attention to it.

Got to Appendix E with the list of action items. Top of the list is:
Reforming the Justice System.
Oh boy. (Too many blacks in prison proves our system is racist will be the result of the next up-coming committee task force no doubt.)
Use of physical restraint or force should be used only as a last resort on certain people including children, pregnant women, non-english speaking people, etc. (Okay to use force on an middle aged white guy though.)
What will he think of to take over next?
The last step to an islamoNazi dictatorship. Or call it anything u like.
I thought this was a parody, but its not.
Same here! Looked for The Onion or Semmons...but, no....it’s Daily Caller.
Meanwhile.....where are the quisling Republicans? Oh, yeah....in the back room with the COC, rolling out smear ads against conservatives who don’t want 0bamnesty.
They base these “interim findings” on a few “listening sessions” over the past 2 months.
How did this study even get money appropriated at all?
Does Congress exist anymore?
Is this today’s fourth or fifth completely unconstitutional power grab?
Yep. Shows just how thoroughly we've been infiltrated.
The public or any elected official will do NOTHING until they are uncomfortable enough. Are we there yet? I think not!
I thought this was a parody, but its not.
I did, too. For a split second. Today, very little is parody.
Hard to tell if it’s farce or tragedy,
maybe both.
The Congress.
Oops. He already has them.
Obama Unveils National ObamaLaw Plan
Barack 0bama today introduced his plan for a progressive takeover of state and local policing.
Nationalize law enforcement.
The Local Sheriffs will love that. Is a sarcasm tag necessary?
He’s doing exactly as He stated.
Pray for America and Prepare. .
Okay. I’ve got the info on Charles Ramsey.

You all can get what you will out of that. I’m asking for some of you to begin researching the other names on this paper. We need to see who will be handing it. Let’s don’t wait until it’s too late to blow the whistle on this project.
Is this really happening?
Obama is taking over the nation just like a dictator.
Thanks - there were plenty of “community organizers” in there too. And sections where the police need to have more community oversite.
The Susan Rahr I mentioned (talking about how cops have become too militarized) is from Washington State and was head of the Sheriff’s department for many years. She always seemed to come across as a decent cop.
We can expect anything and everything bad from the evil bastard.
It’s going to get worse.
the noose tightens,
we had a good run.
Laurie Robinson (surprise, she’s white liberal). twice served as a Senate-confirmed, Presidentially-appointed Assistant Attorney General for the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs, the research, statistics and criminal justice assistance arm of the Department. Her three years of service in the Obama Administration, coupled with seven years in the same post in the Clinton Administration, make her the longest serving head of the agency in its 45-year history. Robinsons recent tenure heading the $2.5 billion agency was marked by a focus on science and evidence-based programming: She established a Science Advisory Board for OJP, launched an initiative to better integrate evidence into OJPs programs and policy decisions, set up a first-time what worksclearinghouse for the criminal justice field, and secured Congressional funding for a set-aside across the agencys appropriation to support research.
Between her stints in the Justice Department, Robinson launched, and then directed, the University of Pennsylvanias Master of Science Program in Criminology and served as a Distinguished Senior Scholar in Penns Jerry Lee Center of Criminology.
During her first tenure at the Justice Department in the 1990s, the federal governments engagement with states and localities on community-based crime control and support for innovation in addressing crime expanded substantially. The agencys annual budget grew from $800 million in 1993 to over $4 billion in 2000. She oversaw the largest increase in federal spending on crime-related research in the nations history and spearheaded major federal initiatives in such areas as violence against women, drug treatment courts, and law enforcement technology.
Prior to joining the federal government, she served for 14 years as director of the American Bar Associations Section of Criminal Justice in Washington, D.C. At the ABA, she founded its Center on Juvenile Justice. She has frequently testified before Congress and has served on numerous national boards, including those of the Vera Institute of Justice (which she chaired from 2006 to 2009), the Constitution Project, the Police Foundation, and the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA). A native of Washington, D.C., Robinson is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University. She lives in Northwest Washington with her husband, Sheldon Krantz, a law professor.
Now I see a couple of noteworthy things. She blew the fed gov. budget overseeing Community Based Crime Control from $800 Million to $4 Billion!! Would like to know what all those “national boards” really are. What is the Vera Institute of Justice for example? And what do we know about her lawyer husband, Sheldon Krantz? Sounds familiar. No doubt she is one of the “elite” liberal communists.
