Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the midst of a heated reelection campaign. Yet he is traveling 5,900 miles to give a speech before a joint meeting of Congress on March 3 just two weeks before Israelis go to the polls. House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), working with Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer, a former Republican political operative who renounced his U.S. citizenship, extended the invitation in a clear effort to undermine the president while the United States and its five partners engage in tough negotiations with Iran to prevent it from obtaining nuclear weapons a national security priority I strongly support.
In other words, the speaker of the House has provided the Israeli prime minister with a global platform to both attack our president and deliver a campaign message to voters at home.

And she's an idiot progressive babyboomer koolaid drinker and 0bamabot.
And the problem is...?
The Regime is pulling out all the stops to discredit Netanyahu.
What will they do when he’s re-elected?
I’m trying to get Texas’ new governor to give him a warm, Texas-size welcome here!
Wouldn't it be easier, and more succinct, for her to simply say: "I don't particularly like Jews."
Nazis generally don't attend speeches by Jews.
“...a global platform to both attack our president and deliver a campaign message to voters at home”
Translation: She doesn’t like Mr. Netanyahoo.
IMHO
She claims the Obama administration is in talks to prevent Iran from obtaining nukes. She then says Netanyahu is trying to undermine the president. For this to make sense, you have to believe that Netanyahu wants Iran to get nukes or Obama is not being honest. This shit for brains woman is too clueless to understand what she’s just said.
Actually, Bibi's visiting Aipac the day before (March 2), so this trip has been set up for a while.
Wait until you want to visit Israel, Congresswoman. You'll be shuttled off to the farthest Holiday Inn for four days. No room service either. Maybe a nice inn on the West Bank so you feel more at home.
This guy controls nuclear weapons! Give him some respect.
Maybe this rep could show us the Diplomatic Protocol that was used in Benghazi...

Oh, the horror!
Who cares?
Doc! That is MY line... ;)
And she's an idiot progressive babyboomer koolaid drinker and 0bamabot.
Demonicrat McCollum is to idiot as idiot is to Einstein.
Like candidate Obama in Berlin? Like Candidate Obama in Iraq meeting with the Iraqis to tell them to hold off on any agreements because he was going to be elected soon he believed?
I wonder if Betty cared that Barry (as a Senator) went and campaigned for Raila Odinga in Kenya?
Gee - Betty it’s all political of course. Netanyahu desperately needs this platform to win reelection, it’s a last gasp pull out all stops effort for him. A Hail Mary at the buzzer wild shot to save his political career. It has nothing at to do with his conviction and knowledge that Iran getting the bomb is the absolute worst thing that could happen to Israel. When half of the Middle East is lying in an ash pile I hope these liberal progressives will be happy.
The article said ... Yet he is traveling 5,900 miles to give a speech before a joint meeting of Congress on March 3 just two weeks before Israelis go to the polls.

Ummm ... long before anything came up about the Joint Session of Congress speech ... Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was ALREADY going to come to the USA, at that same exact time ... and ... speak at AIPAC.
This author of the article makes it sound like Netanyahu is coming to the USA “just for that” Joint Session speech ... LOL ...
EVEN if that invitation had not happened, Netanyahu was coming here, plus he was going to speak about Iran and the “deal” that Obama was making - regardless!
Obama threw out branch of government boundaries long ago.
His ally, Harry Reid; blocked Senate voting for years.
Unintended consequences suck, don’t they?
What's so laughable about McCollum's little editorial here is that it's so obviously something the WH prepared for her - or prepared for someone and then went looking for a "good soldier," and McCollum volunteered. Every last word is a WH talking point. And so of course the Compost was eager to run it.
