The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announced on Thursday night that hundreds of former IRS official Lois Lerners previously lost backup tapes have been recovered, which could result in the recovery of a new trove of her emails.
IRS Deputy Inspector General Timothy P. Camus told Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) on Thursday that it took investigators just two weeks to recover 424 backup tapes that were previously said to be unretrievable.
To date, we have found 32,744 unique emails that were backed up from Lois Lerners email box. We are in the process of comparing these emails to what the IRS has already produced to Congress to determine if we did in fact recover any new emails, Camus said, according to the Washington Times.
In one of the new emails, Lerner apparently wrote, No one will ever believe that both your hard drive and mine crashed within a week of each other.

More Lois Lerner Emails Recovered: No One Will Ever Believe That Both Your Hard Drive and Mine Crashed Within a Week
Evil always eventually catches up with the doer. However, justice delayed is justice denied.
For later
“No one will ever believe that both your hard drive and mine crashed within a week of each other.”
And to think that some careless use of tape at the Watergate Hotel ultimately brought down Nixon.
Is there a statute of limitations for perjury? Aren’t they just running the clock?
By then it may be too late, the statute of limitations is going to kick in at some point if it hasn't already.
No One Will Ever Believe That Both Your Hard Drive and Mine Crashed Within a Week
And, they were right, no one ever did believe it.
Prison time for all involved (including Zero if directly linked) is the ONLY acceptable outcome.

?
Your knowledge of history is flawed: there were no “tapes at the Watergate hotel”. The issue was an 18 minute gap in the White House taping system that was believed to be a discussion of a coverup concerning the Watergate breakin.
not in this case. Indict too soon she gets a presidential pardon.
Isn't that obstruction of justice in one sentence?
This coupled with Lerner’s “bonuses” which could appear to be either a payoff or hush money, her plea before congress and the fact that this wretch of a woman continues to be paid with taxpayer funds are all elements of criminality.
