Although Lerner belongs in jail, I also think that the offending email is being mischaracterized. If you read the email, the sentence quoted above is followed with the sentence, “Life is strange.”
I think the email is an attempt to document, after the fact, that it really happened coincidentally, and wasn’t a coordinated effort. Without the “Life is strange” comment, the email reads almost as an admission of guilt.
There’s a difference, and people should be made aware of it. I think they were establishing the coverup story. In fact, if they were the type of people who one would give the benefit of a doubt (they aren’t, obviously), you could view that email as evidence that it was all a coincidence, as they discussed.
I hope that smug arrogant beech will get her comeuppance someday.....wishful thinking I know...
That could mean, “Oh no, who would ever believe something like this could happen. This is terrible.”
Or, it could mean “heh heh heh.”
Why would anyone else ever know or even care if anyones hard drives crashed, even Lerner and her buddy?
Perhaps because the crashes “destroyed” tons of incriminating documents that could bring down the IRS, the President of the United States and the Democrat Party and put a lot of politicians and high level government officials in prison if the documents and emails ever were made public
