“God bless CPAC!” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said as he took the stage at the annual conservative convention Thursday afternoon. Noting that no Democrats were in attendance, he joked, “It’s almost like CPAC invited Benjamin Netanyahu to speak.” He then said CPAC could have had Hillary Clinton at the conference but “couldn’t find a foreign nation to foot the bill.”
Cruz urged fiscal and social conservatives to come together in order to “get to 51%” in the next presidential election. “Hillary Clinton embodies the corruption of Washington,” he said of his potential 2016 opponent, implying that he represents the opposite.
The senator framed himself as a man of “action,” not just words, telling those in attendance they should demand that leaders “stand up against” not only President Barack Obama‘s policies, but also against “career politician” Republicans who don’t meet his conservative ideals.
Following the speech, Fox News’ Sean Hannity came out and asked Cruz a series of questions. But rather than giving Cruz the grilling that Laura Ingraham delivered to Chris Christie earlier in the day, Hannity mostly just set him up to deliver applause-garnering lines. Case in point, his final question: “Why does Ted Cruz love America?”

“Why does Cruz love America?”
-geez Shawn... that is cringe-worthy
I am sure he has no need for puffbal questions, and you can look sill trying to answer somethign like that unprepared.
Ted Cruz clearly said in his Q&A with Sean Hannity that the GOP leaders were working to strike a deal with the Dems on the illegal amnesty order.
Grumpy Internet journalist does not approve.
The Booshie needs to be booed off the stage tomorrow.
Hannity is such a talentless parroting rush nitwit.
Agreed, he seems like nice person, but it is that same thing over and over and over.....
Ted Cruz is his father's son through and through. Rafael Cruz was right alongside Ted in his campaign for his U.S. Senate seat.
Rafael Cruz explains how America is the greatest country on the face of the earth ...
And over and over and over and over and over and over.
And then to top it off he gives liberals/commies air time on his show. His own way to be PC.
That Jamie Dupree that he has on everyday is mocking him daily and Hannity can’t see it.
And that hell-spawned corruption is called "treason," the mother's milk of every Demonicrat and RINO politician and bureaucrat in Washington.
This is a comment on Hannity’s show, not his politics. He’s on the right side of the issues.
We can’t get much more conservatism, but we’ve stopped watching Fox in general because of all the repetition.
But we stopped watching Hannity long before that due to the mindless repetition. His show that consists of a “panel” of about 40 people is unwatchable.
We sometimes can listen to his radio show when driving and he seems to have more content.
It’s all schtick, folks, and they all have their own, including Rush.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Yep. He has never had an original thought in his life.
The man has the best hair in broadcast industry today. Stop. Strong letter from my attorney follows.
Bet Walker does not specifically call out the RINO leadership infecting Washington when he speaks.
He agrees with Paul Ryan on 95% of issues.
