Pictures have been released comparing what Michelle forces American schools to eat and what kids in other countries get to eat
Since the programs inception, Michelle Obamas Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act has offended the sensibilities of the entire nation.
Conservatives found the program to be invasive, thrusting D.C.s hand into local education matters. Educators found the program wasted enormous amounts of food and money. Parents found the lunches far too light to be considered meals.
And school children everywhere took to the Internet with pictures of the gruesome dishes the program sloshed onto their cafeteria trays every day.
Those pictures did massive amounts of damage to Michelles pet program, but now an even worse PR disaster rears its head. This week the U.K. Daily Mail ran pictures of what other countries feed their school children. The comparison is stark
and humiliating for the United States.
The meal above featuring an orange slice, a puddle of either apple sauce or a pulverized slice of peach or pear, and what looks like lumpy chipped beef without the toast is one of the dishes that complies with Michelles totalitarian program.
Compare this insult to parents, palettes and taxpayers alike with what other nations feed their school children. The contrast below is striking to say the least.
I was showing this to my public school daughter - she said the U.S. photo is a bunch of B.S. We talked and figured that the article probably looked at the “requirements” of michelle’s and came up with a minimum to meet those requirements.
Her school also has vending machines with soda, chips, etc.
But, she still started ranting about how people are letting the government control their lives, and they probably don’t even know it.
I countered in my whiny voice “But it’s for the chiiiilllldren. Don’t you want the children to be healthy and happy?”
“No - cuz they’ll just grow up to be Liberals!”
Naw, there’s no way. This article is a huge stinking pile of bull crap.
[ That is definitely some kind of Mystery Meat.
Disgusting and disgraceful.
Aint communism great. ]
And it probably “costs” us more too....
We need to Re-localize Schools!
Kinda goes with how I’ve been feeling lately.
I’d rather be anywhere but here.
This is a complete fabrication. These are obviously staged photos of lunch trays. No school has hardwood tables. And what are the odds of every single table has the exact same knots in the exact same locations.
Yes, American school lunches are gruesome but this is obviously bogus.
Das ist nicht Apfelstrudel! Est is Es ist nichts anderes als ScheiB!
Die Duplos sind klein aber oh ho!
In order => France, Ukraine, Spain,... ...USA! USA!
Ja, sehr klein.
Obviously a number of FReepers have forgotten what the Mooch’s school lunches look like.

If people are really interested, they could do an image search. Something like, ‘uk school lunch.’ Pretty simple. You can see the kids in their schools eating their actual lunches. Then you can decide who has the worse lunches.
Why does this unelected fat azz have a say in anything?
Don’t have kids but, if I did they would be in private school.
My kids are gonna eat real food, same as I do...erh did, until a fee years ago.
You want spaghetti? Oh no. Daddy hates spaghetti but, you can have angel hair pasta, with roma tomatoes, basil and gsrlic. Heck, I’ll even braise a nice piece of chicken for you.
Sandwich? No problem. It will be on wheat or a multi grain bread, chock full of fiber.
You say you want mayonnaise? How bout the fancy stuff like a nice aoili? Tomatoes, sprouts, lettuce pickles?
Most importantly, I can’t stand white bread and won’t serve you garbage.
Pizza? You can eat that stuff but, I don’t like pizza crust unless it’s thin or whole wheat with various flavors.
I’ll eat the toppings and you can have my crust, unless it’s crisped or a bit burnt. I love that.
Rice Bowl? Sure. I’d prefer you eat brown rice but, thst stuff ain’t as easy to cook as white rice. You can have brown, Jasmine, Basmati and occasionally white rice.
Want some wild rice? Sohh good.
Chicken for lunch? Yoi got it and there are quite a number of healthy ways to cook it but, I don’t begrudge anyone wanting “Hot, dead, Fried chicken”.
You’ll get real potatoes, mashed and lumpy...cuz I like lumps and I prefer red or white potatoes.
Gravy with that? Okay but, while I like to make gravy from drippings and that crunchy stuff at the bottom of a pan, I also like packaged gravy and since I don’t use butter on anything but popcorn you can have as much as you like.
Yer gonna eat what I call a decent amount of green veggies too and they won’t be doused in butter.
Heck, I’ll braise em or roast them in a bit of olive oil and not that cheap stuff from Walmart either. Don’t get me wrong, I love Wally World but, delicious food requires excellent ingredients. I buy that expensive stuff...
Bread with dinner? LOL...oh don’t make me laugh.
Well, occasionally we’ll have it but, only with Plueger or Kerrigold butter or, or, or garlic bread...
My kids will only eat good and whole food.
She knows where the skeletons are burried. She has the dirt on that scrawny POS for whom she plays the beard.
Well at least many of the illegals trying to feed their family only on Michael O’s diet won’t be looking forward to the food dole.
“Institutional cooking can turn any ingredients into gray glop. “
God bless my wonderful Welsh/American Grandmother,,,, but she cooked everything until it was gray. Gray meat! Gray veggies!
