Saudi Arabia is prepared to let Israeli fighter jets use its airspace if it proves necessary to attack Iran’s nuclear program, an Israeli TV station reported Tuesday, highlighting growing ties in the shadow of Tehran’s nuclear drive.
Riyadh’s only condition is that Israel make some kind of progress in peace talks with the Palestinians, Channel 2 reported Tuesday, citing an unnamed senior European source.
“The Saudi authorities are completely coordinated with Israel on all matters related to Iran,” the European official in Brussels said.
Jerusalem and Riyadh do not have diplomatic ties, but unconfirmed reports have swirled for years of coordination between them against the common enemy of Iran, a partnership that may ramp up should the world powers reach a reportedly emerging deal that would allow Tehran to continue enriching some uranium.

Indeed — the Saudis have always been in the proxy business and it is pretty clear they have no problem letting Israel take out the nearest threat.

Very encouraging, but notice how extravagantly comfortable the Saudis are (and have long been) with OTHER people fighting FOR them...?

This strikes me as something the Saudis would not want to be made public, or even speculated. First for political reasons. Second, and more importantly, is OPSEC, a.k.a. loose lips sink ships.
If there is cooperation, fine. But make it known only, and maybe, after the fact, and only with the consent of parties involved in the operation.
I'd have no problem if Israeli jets took out the soddies...on their way to take out Iran.
That would make it much harder for the US to shoot down Israeli jets launching an attack.
The lesser and greater ‘Satans’ have new proven oil and gas reserves that render Saudi irrelevant. They were forced to come around to reality.
