Two former CBS reporters have strongly disputed Bill OReillys accounts of what happened one night when they covered a riot in Buenos Aires, but on The Factor tonight, OReilly brought on a former NBC News bureau chief who backed up his story.
Don Browne was the NBC News Miami bureau chief at the time, and he oversaw the networks Falklands coverage. And Browne told OReilly his account was accurate. As opposed to some of the other accounts, which have to some extent downplayed the danger, Browne said the situation got progressively more intense and there were demonstrations in Buenos Aires every day.

Lesson to the Liberals - If you are going to sucker punch someone, make sure itssomeone who won’t fight back. Most thugs know this - attack someone who is defenseless.
BTW, I think David Corn is addicted to crack. Butt crack, that is.
Regardless of what really happened and what BOR might or might not have said, the difference is staggering when you compare corroborating sources in this instance with that of Brian Williams.
On the former, the entire debate is framed based on the words of ‘journalists’ all round. In the latter, the conflicting sources to Brian Williams are not (i.e., soldiers!). It’s no contest in my mind.
There is such a thing as a “David Corn fan?” Huh. Who knew?
I don't know if what happened at the riot constituted being in a war zone, but it did look like people were getting hurt.
O'Reilly looks more right on the issue than his accusers. Of course, anything said by the likes of arch-leftist David Corn, including the color of his socks, has to be taken with a grain of salt.
You can find more credible corn after a bowel movement.
That’s gross ... and funny
Exactly. There’s much I don’t like about O’Reilly, but one thing is quite certain: if you fling BS about him, he will kick your ass. The man fights back hard.
Sorry about breakfast there. It’s been annoying me since yesterday.
I think O Reilly summed him up perfectly by noting his nickname at the time was “room service Eric”. IOW, the guy was absentee reporting.
Meanwhile, O’Reilly gave major props to Rush citing it was Rush who know the story from the get go. Rush, who loves to mock BOR by referring to him as Ted Baxter often, I am certain will have a comment about the props on today's show.
He will use that as a reminder to the GOP to fight back rather than to try to win over the media who are nothing by dem cheerleaders these days. Never in recorded history will they be able to recover on how they dropped the ball of credibility with their complete abdication of their responsibilities to have vetted and now cover up for O turd.
And they called Bush a chimp
David Corn is a liberal dweeb. Glad he is no longer affiliated with Fox.
What I found extremely noteworthy was RUSH LIMBAUGH coming to his defense. Oreilly had the rush clip on at the end of the show last night and thanked him for it. Those two are not friends.
Limbaugh defended Bill Maher once as well.
You mean like this?
Wasn’t David Corn the guy who claimed that, sick with the flu, he went around Gary Bauer’s Presidential Campaign offices licking phones and doornobs to make the staff there sick?
No, that was Dan Savage, who was writing for Salon at the time.
LMAO
Willie Nelson has always said Elvis Presley, passed away while on the toilet and his last word was “Corn”.
;^}
Lol!
