As a Brit, I’d be very happy to recommend (classic/contemporary) British TV and film (as well as European/World film and TV, again classic and modern). Just let me know.
I recommend The Imitation Game and The Theory of Everything. Two brilliant films, with brilliant performances across the casts.
You should go see The Imitation Game. Also The Theory of Everything. Great films.
The Theory of Everything or The Imitation Game are hardly cult films. Brilliant films I would recommend to you, yes.
Not just nonsense, but self-serving narcissism. A movie about an actor wins top awards. So THEY (the oscar people) give an award to THEMSELVES (in effect).
They are saying the only worthy subject is US (Hollywood). The only people worthy of consideration are OURSELVES (the Hollyweirds).
"Show biz kids makin' movies of themselves,
"You know they don't give a [ ] about anybody else..."
Rick Derringer has a GREAT solo on that track and played on many SD songs.
I loved SD - so many great albums up thru Gaucho.
Will do!
What are they about?
Did you see the Soros paid for immigration commercial?
The Imitation Game is about Alan Turing and the British breaking of the WW2 Enigma code. The Theory of Everything is the biopic of Stephen Hawking and his battle with his illness. Both brilliant films, with many superb performances by two great British casts.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne, two of the UK’s best young actors, are the leads in each respectively.
No... I was watching paint drying... that would be more beneficial then watching the Oscars.
