So emailed a friend of mine on Saturday morning, sending me a link to the Drudge Report, which led with a scandalous New York Daily News article apoplectic and incredulous that Rudy Giuliani could launch the hysterical, Neanderthal, McCarthyite claim that our president, Barack Obama, had been influenced as a young man by a literal communist. I quickly read the piece and nodded to myself. Not only did Rudy have the communist right, but he even had Obama’s exact age (nine) right when he was first introduced to the communist.

It is the media which is the apologist for him and for Islam, and as such can safely ignore stories contrary to the mythical narrative about him and that about moderate vs radical muslims.

The fact that the media won’t even let Rudy ask about that top layer of the onion - the one that is blatantly obvious to everybody - tells us that they are either willing idiots, or threatened idiots. The liberals are willing idiots. The conservatives are threatened idiots - the blatant (documentable) threat beginning in October of 2008.

Good article but, of course, there’s more to what Rudy is saying than how much of an influence Frank Davis was in Obama’s life. That is about the WHY of Rudy’s comments. “Why does Obama seem to not love America?” Who knows? Rudy brings up possible reasons. But is that really the point?
The point is that Obama’s behavior as President is behavior of one that seems to not love and believe in the values of freedom that America stands for. That’s a WHAT question. “What does Obama continue to do and say that leads one believe he doesn’t love this country?” That’s not speculation or something mysterious, but stuff that we see out in the open every day. And even that is not the real issue.
The real issue is, regardless of Obama’s personal feelings about America or Islam or anything else, has he and does he “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”? The Constitution is the rule of law in America and the standard by which every federal politician including Obama must be judged.
The real truth is that adherence to the Constitution is the unbiased standard to judge whether a federal official loves our country. Many fail that test. The real question is, “When will the American People demand that standard once again be met?”
