Anyhow:
The SS Arthur M. Anderson is a cargo ship of the laker type. It is famous for being the last ship to be in contact with the SS Edmund Fitzgerald (before it sank 10 November 1975). The Anderson was also the first rescue ship on the scene in a vain search for Fitzgerald survivors (there were none).
I used to know a GL tugboat captain that knew the crew of the Fitzgerald, and claimed to be the last man to speak to them before the accident..........
He’s been dead many years now...............
How the heck can we be having a second winter in a row of severe ice in the Great Lakes, when we are supposed to be experiencing global warming????
It would be cool if they find themselves hovering over the remains of LaSalles Griffon.
I know how to free the boat. We get all the “warmists” in North America, give them ice axes and put them to work.
Supposed to be heading for Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin but there is a lot of ice along the way.
I’m starting to think that a canal across southern Michigan wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
As we head into the warmest year on record.
Canada Ping!
