Yawn...
Off with his head!
We are far better off with Hillary. /sarc
Setting up the circular firing squad, I see...
We know this and walker’s recent statements to the contrary. Scott has to clear that up quick, or he will die of it.
Ted Cruz stands head and shoulders over the field.
You’re really trying to stir up the Walker fans here aren’t you?
I’ve been pretty mild in my posts and still get accused of working for Hillary.
I just want to be able to vote for someone that I have some confidence isn’t going to give away my country.
This may seem like old news to those who wish to believe Walker won’t betray us, but his more recent statements aren’t much different. If anything more worrisome. The last thing I read suggested he’s evolving to a position of making it so easy to enter nobody bothers entering illegally. That accelerates the invasion.
I want it stopped.
Walker has his Bush clan marching orders.
.
Walker sure has a ton to shed!
.
Bush will drop out and endorse Walker.
It will be Walker against a more conservative candidate.
Walker is going to need to figure out where he stands on illegal immigration. Right now he’s about as clear as mud. He’s for enforcing the laws, but says he isn’t talking about deportations. He says he’s not for amnesty, but talks about a path to legalization. I’m sure the Chamber of Commerce cronies are pressuring him. What he should say is simply that nobody trusts the Federal government to secure the borders, and propose a plan to build a fence and enforce the current laws for 5 years. If the fence is built and the border is secure we can look at the situation then and decide what to do about it (conveniently after his reelection). That’s probably about the best we can hope for from a nominee.
Thanks for keeping on with these threads, 2ndDV—despite the Walkerites who get upset with actual information getting out.
The final version of the resolution signaled support for criminalizing federal immigration law violations and increased border fencing.
But the sleazy here will post anything without researching it.....if it smears Walker.
Ask yourselves....why do they spend so much time and effort to smear one of the better candidates running? What is their REAL agenda?
It doesn’t seem to me that these folks are interested in nominating a decent conservative.
Cruz is head and shoulders above the rest of the GOP field and I’m gonna support him over Walker but you Cruz diehards don’t kid yourself if you think Ted, as president, will deport the tens of millions of illegals already here. Nobody in this field will do that, but I trust that Ted would be the strongest advocate for complete border security and an immigration moratorium that is necessary. Folks, those illegals already here are not going anywhere. Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, and Hillary will not deport them so get over the fantasy of a mass deportation. Won’t happen with any of these people.
no he didn’t
Read it and weep:

Sorry. I won’t support anyone playing the pathway/worker/amnesty card.
What I've seen him go thru..in the last few years...I've admired.
What I've seen Cruz and Palin go thru..in the last many years....I've admired.
What I've seen J. Bush, McCain, McCrusty, do...et al....I've not in anyway..admired.
Does anybody here actually give a damn about the politicians these days! Yes, they are all a bit crooked or they would not be politicians. We have little choice but compared to those that are worse, he is great. Let that sink in a bit, as we have begun to accept only those that are acceptable, not those that are actually good...
Unfortunately amnesty is the Single Issue par excellence because being wrong on it pushes all other issues into irrelevance as the millions and millions of new Democrat Voters transform the USA into a single Party Democrat Totalist State.
I have several problems with Governor Walker. Amnesty is the biggest. It weakens us financially and compromises our national security.
How is a pathway to legal status for illegals not amnesty? Because Scott Walker refuses to call it what it is? Sounds like amnesty to me.
Walker campaign spokesman Tom Evenson said they were consistent with his past comments on what to do with those living here illegally. WALKER DOES NOT CONSIDER THE PENALTY-LADEN PATHWAY TO LEGAL STATUS THAT HE ENDORSED IN 2013 AMNESTY AND HES NOT ADVOCATING AMNESTY NOW, he said.

OR THERES THIS
Make it easier to enter the country legally
Walker said he is in favor of the Senate immigration billthat features a path to citizenshipbut called it a backward Band-Aid approach, saying elected leaders should make it easier for people to enter the country and become legal citizens in the first place.
Not only do they need to fix things for people already here, or find some way to do it, theres got to be a larger way to fix the system in the first place, he said. Because if it wasnt so cumbersome, if there wasnt such a long wait, if it wasnt so difficult to get in, we wouldnt have the other problems that we have (with people living here illegally), he said. Walkers stance on immigration reform evolved over the years.

2010: stop suspected illegals; 2012: thats a distraction
Walkers stance on immigration reform evolved over the years. He said as a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 that he would sign an Arizona-style bill, which would allow local police to stop suspected illegal immigrants, if he were elected. Then, in December 2012, Walker said he no longer favored such a bill, telling reporters that such legislation would become a huge distraction from accomplishing his agenda for the state. Today, Walker said he would support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants under some circumstances.
