Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Monday night that a federal judge has “granted” his request to “halt” President Barack Obama’s “Executive Amnesty Order” across the country.
Abbott didn’t immediately offer any other details, but promised for information later.

Ted Cruz from 2003 to 2008, serving under then Texas AG Greg Abbott.
It ought to be done before the executive can ignore the order — that way the ignoring of the order itself can be cause for Treason.
If it's held out until after, a defense could be made that they weren't actually being invaded when the order was ignored — IOW, declaring a state of invasion (and acting on it) would preempt this defense altogether.

And THAT is exactly why it should be the National Guard that’s called up — if that was to happen it would be prima facie evidence of Treason.
It would undoubtedly be “giving aid” to the enemies of that State.

Eh. I’m not all that sympathetic; the American judicial system’s been conducting “lawfare” against the Citizen for a long while.
(Just look at how they haven’t struck down [e.g.] the EPA’s ridiculous fines as violative of the 8th Amendment, or the NSA’s domestic espionage on 4th Amendment grounds, or all the “exigent circumstances” of the War on Drugs.)

You have a brave, patriotic governor in Texas!
He issued a memo to implement illegal amnesty. The judge addressed the memo and ordered all involved to halt their activities in relation to the memo.
The people named by the judge will be held in contempt of court if they disobey his order and put in jail. Texas is not messing around with this.

The judge put names in his order. If they disobey they are in contempt of the court and could go to jail. Knowing Texas, they will go to jail.

I totally agree. We all can do our own small parts and it all adds up. Every day I wake up I begin as though it is the first day of the fight. America is under assault. Those of us who are awake and able to make a difference need to fight as though our lives depend on it because they do. I have friends who know the truth but do not want to focus on it much because they want to live their daily lives in happiness. They do not realize that their daily lives will change forever in major ways if they do not fight this. The evil will overtake them like a tidal wave. No way am I going to stop shining the light on the truth and stop fighting this total evil. No way.

I watched Nicholas and Alexandria the other night on TCM. Depressing. The Czar probably deserved punishment but the movie was depressing to me because the actions of the proletariat peasants and the power brokers are so much like what we are living through now. Ignorant thugs meeting out the will of ideologues. Bozo siad, “I am going to do what I think is right for America”. Pretty Czarist behavior in that.
