The standard is the Tesla. If they can beat the range, performance and price, they've got a lock. But that is going to be one tall order. Tesla is the only profitable EV on the market, primarily because it is priced to be so. If it were to sell significantly cheaper, with the current technology, the company would fold like a bad poker hand in Vegas.
