Former Weather Underground activists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn were guests at the August 2014 wedding of White House chef Sam Kass and MSNBC anchor Alex Wagner, which was also attended by President Obama and his family, according to a report Thursday in Gawker.
Obama's ties to Ayers became a flashpoint during the 2008 presidential campaign, with Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) memorably accusing Obama of "palling around with terrorists who would target their own countries."
Ayers and Dohrn spent nearly a decade on the run as fugitives for their role in carrying out bombings of federal buildings, including the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, in protest of the Vietnam War. Federal authorities eventually dropped charges against them because of FBI misconduct.
Ayers later became a professor and served alongside Obama on several charitable and education boards. Ayers also hosted a 1995 campaign event for Obama, who was running for the Illinois state Senate at the time. Officials for the Obama campaign said in 2008 the two men had not spoken by telephone or email since the president was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2005.
Kass, the Obama family's longtime chef, also lived in Chicago during that period. He left the White House at the end of last year to join Wagner in New York City, where she anchors her afternoon show.
Although critics of Obama have insinuated close ties between the president and Ayers, the former Weather Underground member said in an interview just two months before the wedding that he believed Obama should be put on trial for war crimes at The Hague.
In an interview with Real Clear Politics, Ayers said he "absolutely" believed the president was engaged in terrorism for his use of drone strikes in fighting the war on terror.
"Every president in this century should be put on trial, every one of them," Ayers said. "For war crimes. Absolutely.
"Every one of them goes into office, an office dripping with blood, and adds to it. And yes I think these are war crimes. They are acts of terror," Ayers added.
He also said he would give the president a "failing" grade, while admitting that he liked him personally more than other recent presidents.
Obama dismissed efforts to tie him to Ayers during the 2008 primary.
"This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood ... the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense," Obama said.
O was reportedly spotted coming out of Tom Ayers’ (Bill’s father) house back in the late 80’s after thanking the ole man for helping put him through college (Occidental) and was asked what his future plans were going to be by a postman Alan Hulton. His reply was “I’m going to be president of the United States” as though he knew it was already a done deal. You got to remember Tom was a Communist for it to have significance; something was obviously afoot...
Did the guest list only become public now?
Uh oh maybe now we can pair the two together and people will realize......not
Wedding?
2 men or 2 women?
Source? Not Rense, I hope.
Good story, source? Does this agree with the drunken Russian woman at the Moscow cocktail party in the 90's? The one who described Obama and the KGB plot to put him in the White House?
If Gawker finally accepts that Obama is pals with Communist bomb-throwing types, then will they and Buzzflash finally lay off conservatives for saying as much?
And kids in school get detention or worse if they even draw a picture of a gun or make that gesture. He’s a disgrace.
“Every one of them goes into office, an office dripping with blood, and adds to it. And yes I think these are war crimes. They are acts of terror,”
And yet Ayres himself used and endorsed terror as a proper and viable and necessary tactic.
Anyone who thinks Bill Ayres the foaming bloodthirsty killer isn’t using his connections with the whitehouse to reach the terror ends he set out to reach all those years ago, is pathetically simple minded.

The married couple certainly have the right to invite anyone they want to their wedding.
But I believe that the married couple probably asked Obama if it was alright by him if Ayers was invited. And I think that Obama said it was alright.
I have the feeling that it was Obama who introduced the couple to Ayers in the first place.
My point is this: The Ayers wedding invitation tells me that Ayers is closer to Obama than just a person who happens to live in the neighborhood.
In fact, Ayers could have been such good friends with Obama that he could easily have been more like a person with excellent writing skills---skills that Obama seems to be lacking---who could have easily helped Obama write one or more of his books as some critics of Obama claim.
Again, I don't think that an ordinary person who just happens to live in the same Chicago neighborhood as Obama would have the special privileges needed to be invited to the private wedding of some of President Obama's closest friends unless that person had a much closer friendship with Obama than Obama claims he had.
Must’ve been the wedding of somebody from their neighborhood...

I know there’s nothing I enjoy more than chilling out and knocking down a few brewskis with a guy who want to put me on trial for war crimes at The Hague. /s

Kass grew up in Hyde Park, Ill., where his father taught at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, the famous private institution where a half-day of pre-school costs $18,000 a year and high school costs $28,000 annually. He attended the Lab School, played baseball at a community college in the Midwest, then graduated from the University of Chicago in 2004. Hes known the Obamas since he was in high school. They were his neighbors. His father was Malias fifth grade teacher. And when Kass returned from his culinary voyages, he ended up cooking for the Obamas at their Hyde Park townhouse. Sasha and Malia quickly fell in love with the big-brother figure, Weisberg says. Kass was more than the Obamas chef, more than a big brother to the girls. He was a sounding board for Michelle. The two made plans for the White House vegetable garden, for a program to encourage healthy eating. When the family moved to Washington it was a given that Kass would tag along. Kass and the president are known for having something of a father-son relationship. In this case the son cooks for dad five nights a week and loses to him at golf.
Wagner also owes a lot to dad. Her father is Carl Wagner, a longtime Democratic operative who helped run Ted Kennedys 1980 presidential campaign, who served in the DNC, and who co-chaired Bill Clintons 1992 campaign. A highly successful consultant, for a time Carl Wagner ran the Entertainment Express Corporation, a California cable company that, ironically enough, was bought by Comcast, which now employs his daughter. Alex Wagner grew up in Northwest D.C., went to Woodrow Wilson High School, and matriculated at Brown. She is an only child. When she graduated from college in 1999 she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked at music magazines. After a few years, though, and a stint in Amsterdam where she tried to write a novel while living with her mom, I wanted to switch gears.
It was back to D.C. Wagner met with Democratic mastermind John Podestaan old Washington neighbor whose relationship with her father was longstanding. Podesta gave her a job at his new think tank, the Center for American Progress. Which led to a job in New York City at Fader magazine. Which led to the job with George Clooney. Which led to a gig covering the Obama White House for the now defunct Politics Daily. Which led to MSNBC. Her agent is Ari Emanuel, brother to Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel and to Dr. Zeke Emanuel, a frequent guest on her show. Wagner talks about the series of events that brought her from that Los Angeles pay phone to MSNBCs soundstage as if it were the most natural progression in the world, Elle magazine noted a couple years back. Of course she does. It was natural for her.
Was not Ayers the true author of half of Obola’s two “books”?
Do I mind they both attended a wedding?
No.
Do I mind Obola spent $500,000.00 dollars flying BACK to DC for two days just to attend a “wedding” on ONE weekend when “he” was already on vacation at $1,500,000.00 dollars flight expense up offshore of Massachusetts?
Yes!
""Every president in this century should be put on trial, every one of them," Ayers said. "For war crimes."
This is what this assholes doing while the middle east is in flames.
Something happens to my son while he’s over there and I’m going to take that finger gun shove it up his arse and blow his brain out.
I will pray for your son’s safe return. Even though this administration does not care about the military personnel under its command....we vets do...especially those of us having been to that evil place...your son and those he is with will watch over each other...that is a great thing about our military...
What’s the story behind that picture? Do you know?
