“It’s so wrong” Gay woman attacked with knife, marked with homophobic slurs (seattle)

TACOMA — Police are still looking for the man accused in a violent attack on a lesbian woman.

The 45-year-old woman was attacked, stabbed and dragged by a leash early Sunday morning in what police are treating as a hate crime.

“It’s so horrific that she can’t even fathom how this could happen to anyone let alone herself,” said Gretchen, the victim’s roommate, who spoke on behalf of her friend because the victim is still so scared. “It’s so wrong.”

The woman was attacked around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning as she left her home to look for her dog, which had run off, Tacoma police said Monday. Police said as she walked in the 900 block of East 51st Street, she passed a man and asked if he’d seen a dog run by. He pointed in a direction and she began walking that way.

As she walked into the alley, the man allegedly followed her and knocked her down from behind. The man attacked her, wrote on her in black marker and stabbed her multiple times with a pocketknife, police said. He also took her dog leash and choked her with it, police said.

Detectives say during the attack, the man screamed violent homophobic remarks and hate speech at the victim. He apparently tore away her clothes and wrote homophobic slurs on her body, and ran off when her dog began barking and biting him.

If this is true, the kid needs to pay and learn a lesson. I don’t go for this liberal mumbo jumbo, PC, hate crime crap, but males should never lay a hand on a women even if she is a dike. And he used a knife. That in it self shows how weak he his.

Cool said the man grabbed the leash and started to strangle the woman. She fought back and was able to free herself before losing consciousness. But before the woman could get away, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed her four times in the arm, chest and thigh, according to Cool.

At some point during or after the attack, the man took out a marker and wrote homophobic slurs on the woman's back, buttocks, legs and forehead.

This is the full Tawana Brawley deal. Almost certain that it is a hoax. I suspect there is a similar psychological pathology involved, because of the almost identical elements involved in the “attacks” against the hoaxers.

Injuries are minor and come from unlikely angles. The “attacker” somehow knows something not obvious, like sexual orientation. And the “attacker” writes something on the body of the “victim”.

The truth is that the hoaxer is filled with self-loathing and disgust, and seeks someone to oppress them as confirmation that they matter enough to be hated by someone else.

The police usually figure out that it is a hoax after even a cursory examination.
