TACOMA — Police are still looking for the man accused in a violent attack on a lesbian woman.
The 45-year-old woman was attacked, stabbed and dragged by a leash early Sunday morning in what police are treating as a hate crime.
“It’s so horrific that she can’t even fathom how this could happen to anyone let alone herself,” said Gretchen, the victim’s roommate, who spoke on behalf of her friend because the victim is still so scared. “It’s so wrong.”
The woman was attacked around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning as she left her home to look for her dog, which had run off, Tacoma police said Monday. Police said as she walked in the 900 block of East 51st Street, she passed a man and asked if he’d seen a dog run by. He pointed in a direction and she began walking that way.
As she walked into the alley, the man allegedly followed her and knocked her down from behind. The man attacked her, wrote on her in black marker and stabbed her multiple times with a pocketknife, police said. He also took her dog leash and choked her with it, police said.
Detectives say during the attack, the man screamed violent homophobic remarks and hate speech at the victim. He apparently tore away her clothes and wrote homophobic slurs on her body, and ran off when her dog began barking and biting him.

They are notorious for vicious fights and I’ve seen it happen. They are extremely jealous, and the dominate one will beat the other at the drop of a wink. So yes, I would say first guess would be a real humdinger of a fight.

More likely her “girlfriend” decided to do what so many of the “male in the relationship” do. Violence to “prove power” is often the driving factor in the woman who decides to become the alpha in the relationship.

Bingo. Guaranteed hoax. All that is missing is Sharpton.
Hypothesize, for a moment, that this is a real attack and not a hoax.
It shows just how much damage all the (going back to Tawana Brawley and continuing to the recent UVA Rape, Leena Dunham Rape, the gay waitress getting stiffed on a tip) Left-promoted hoaxes have done by driving an immediate reaction that it’s just another hoax.
The whole marker thing makes sense in that it perpetuates the racist stereotype that young Hispanic men enjoy tagging things with graffiti.
I doubt it was perpetrated by a Christian since there are few of them in that part of the country...they are proud of their atheistic ways up there.
That only applies to folks like us who actually take the time to understand what happened. Remember, in the general public’s mind, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were saints. I also saw an article recently where some folks were claiming that whites burned blacks alive “by the thousands” here in the United States.
The truth is not relevant to these people - the CLAIM is.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think, to date, every one of these incidents that involved writing something on someone turned out to be a hoax.
