Jeb Bush, a rumored 2016 Republican presidential candidate, just decided to publish hundreds of thousands of emails sent to him during his time as governor of Florida. On its face it seems like a great idea in the name of transparency, but there's one huge problem: neither Bush nor those who facilitated the publication of the records, including the state government, decided to redact potentially sensitive personal information from them.
"In the spirit of transparency, I am posting the emails of my governorship here," a note on Bush's website says. "Some are funny; some are serious; some I wrote in frustration." Some also contain the email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers of Florida residents. The emails are available in Outlook format, and can be searched on the web at Bush's website.

Dumbarse!
He did it out of “love”. (shaking my head)
NEXT!
If he's the smartest, the whole clan ought to invest in vasectomies. I thought 41 was the brightest of the lot, even though he was also one of the lousier Republican Presidents.
and a great Prez.
You don't have very high standards for greatness. Pushing amnesty for illegals, TARP, Medicare expansion, and No Child Left Behind isn't my notion of greatness.
Mooseshelle is running.
Count on it.
Alternate answer:
He doesn't have any siblings who are Americans...
Why not?
He did.
” Is substance abuse involved in Jebs poor judgment?”
I hate to give this traitorous reprobate any excuses : )
Substance abuse?
More like Constitution abuse.
Are we now living in an Ologarchy, with a few noble families ruling by divine fiat?
Especially the Dauphin Bush?
Hopefully there won’t be a liberal Joan of Arc to place the Dauphin on the throne...
“More like Constitution abuse.”
Destruction.
Exactamente.
Terri Schiavo. Yes, that one day alone would be enough to kick him out of politics forever.
Jeb cannot win if millions of reminders called Terri’s fighters and in the alternative, the death cultists who also hate Jeb mention her name. The death cult got what they wanted but they pretend they hate Jeb. If he was too much of a wimp to use his pardoning powers or same goes for his RINO brother, Jeb can never count on me. Country’s toast already if we have to choose between a Hitlery and Jebediah the mama’s boy. Common Core, and illegal immigrants are to love but he had to let RINOS kill innocent Terri.
Jeb was with Jesse Jackson the last week calling Terri a martyr. Jackson said “Terri’s death would save many lives.” How’s that, Jackson? Jeb was by Jackson’s side when Jackson said it. I saw it on tv home at lunch from the vigil. I was tired but not too tired to be shocked.
I hope this puts an end to the idiotic idea of this idiotic man running for president.
Because they're dumber than a family of Bushes?
“given the rather current focus on Privacy...particularly internet privacy...Id say this was about the most negative stunt anyone could have allowed....”
At least it clears the field for better conservatives, by allowing us to paint Bush as an idiot RINO not up to the challenges of our times.
We can look to better Constitutional Conservtives like Ted Cruses, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, ect.. We just need to get the conservtive movement to settle on one and rally behind him. This is particularly important as the left is likely to pick one of their own radicals.
I never said it did; clearly Jeb needs to fire the guy responsible for this screwup and vet future hires more carefully.
Thinking a bit, two possible reasons for including SSNs come to mind:
1. My name is John Smith... not the John Smith on the other side of town, not the John Smith down the road on the farm, and certainly not the John Smith in the county jail....2. The financial tracking info for my donation is Name:... SSN:....
