The "snowmaggedon" of the past two weeks will almost certainly move Boston into the top 10 snowiest winters of all time Monday.
"It's like the Energizer Bunny. It just keeps going," said Storm Team 5 meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon.
The seemingly never-ending snowfall will give Boston over 73 inches for the winter, passing the 72.9 inches that fell during the winter of 1903-1904.
As of 7 a.m., 66.3 inches had fallen this winter season at Logan Airport, where snow is officially measured.
"For the past 14 days it seems like we have had a constant snow removal operation in Boston," said Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
Boston also set a record with the most snow in 30 days with 60.8 inches.
The prior record was the 58.8 inches that fell before, during and after the Blizzard of 1978. However, this time that record was set in 17 days, not 30.

With Liberals, Cognitive Dissonance is a way of life.....................
In New Hampshire, when we get too old to do it ourselves, we hire hardworking Americans.
Wouldn't know how to find an illegal if I wanted to. And I don't.
“Red Hampshire”

LOL! Good one.
Are there that many? That’s twice what I expected. ;)
“I do feel for the 88 conservatives who still have to live there....”
Thank you!!
About 7” of global warming evidence here in Nashua. 3-4 yesterday. My son and I spent about 2 1/2 hours on Saturday shoveling and snow blowing back the snow banks so that about 90% of my driveway was exposed again. I have bought over 20 bags of rock salt(50# bags) and at least 5 Calcium chloride so far this year.
The trader next to me continues to get incoming calls for people wanting to buy truckloads of rock salt and calcium chloride everyday. The rock salt mines are back to loading 24/7.
Snow blowers are sold out around here. Lowes was putting out lawn furniture and umbrellas on Saturday. Pitchers and catchers are due to report in about 2 weeks.
The good thing about his winter is that bodies of water will freeze up, saving countless lives of women who put out for Kennedys.
ROTFLMAO!!!
There is a FReeper named Conservative professor. He is in Boston. I posted this to him. “My dad was a conservative professor in Boston. You must be the OTHER one”
Liberals are strong believers in diversity and tolerance, except for when it comes to having views that are different from theirs. Professors with conservative views are seen and treated with contempt. In the eyes of liberals they are heretics and a threat to the liberal domination of academia.
It is said that Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold.
” Professors with conservative views are seen and treated with contempt. In the eyes of liberals they are heretics and a threat to the liberal domination of academia.”
My dad treated them with contempt too. He was a fighter.
Yeah : )
!!!
LOL!
“... There is enough snow on the ground here that small to medium dogs need some paths carved out in the global warming in order for them to venture out....
Mr. Roberts usually snow blows a circle for our little dog.
There is so much snow here that there is no way to carve out
an area for the dog. The dog is 13 1/2 and I’ve never seen him go out and back in so quickly as I have this winter. Actually, going in and out quickly is a good thing. Our doggy is white and you can barely see him in the snow.
As far as the snowfall record goes: ok, ok record set - now
stop snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IMO its God punishing them for electing elizabeth warren and the other God hating, pro-gay, pro-abortion communists.
Roof rakes are sold out too!
I have two. Had one at the old house, the previous owner left one in the shed when he moved.
My former house had a skylight that the snow would melt off and refreeze on the roof below. I needed to roof rake that spot to prevent ice damning. I added about a foot of bonded cellulose to the attic in this house. So, the snow does not melt off the house roof.
neighbors are complainin’ they got no place to put the new snow. We don’t really have too much here 100 miles SW of Boston ... 20 inches on the ground and another 6 falling today ...
Street isn’t plowed, so I am locked inside with a box of ziti and Ragu. It’s probably a good thing I don’t drink, cuz it would all be drank by now.
