You may have touched on the good news regarding homosexual marriage.

And that is that relatively few homosexuals are actually deciding to get “married”.

Which to me the good news is that homosexuals may end up not really changing the nature of marriage and family life as much as we all feared. Because so few same sex people are actually tying the knot.

But the Supreme Court action clearly signals that they will impose 50 state homosexual marriage later this year.

And the media will celebrate homosexual marriage week when it happens. Remember when Obama came out for same sex marriage? We saw the media celebrate gay marriage week. It will happen again if the court, as expected, pushes this on the entire country.

Yup. The whole thing has always seemed to me a scam on the part of divorce lawyers to expand their business.

Yup. Justice Thomas says the same thing this morning..

This is from a SCOTUS blog article:
Justice Clarence Thomas dissented from the denial of the stay, in a three-page opinion that was joined by Justice Antonin Scalia. Thomas argued that, “[w]hen courts declare state laws unconstitutional and enjoin state officials from enforcing them,” the Court’s “ordinary practice is to suspend those injunctions from taking effect pending appellate review.” Noting that the Court had “granted a stay in similar circumstances a little over a year ago,” Thomas suggested that Alabama’s request “should have been treated no differently.” Moreover, Thomas observed, the Court’s failure to grant a stay “may well be seen as a signal of the Court’s intended resolution” of the same-sex marriage question. “This,” he complained, “is not the proper way to discharge our Article III responsibilities. And, it is indecorous for this Court to pretend that it is.”

That wasn’t the point of it, however - it is to ruin the definition of the word and ruin the definition of marriage and family itself by legal force. Fewer and fewer ‘straight’ couples are getting married as well these days - which had to come first. same sex “marriage” was just a natural progression in the disrespect being given to marriage.

In the spring of 2014, the number of gay marriages (I looked it up about six months ago) was around 77,000. The general trend, if you figure the remaining states and the way that statistical analysis runs....we will peak with all fifty states gay-married-friendly around the summer of 2016...maybe hitting 115,000. I doubt we will ever go past that point....if you figure an average of 5,000 of these going to a divorce stage every year. All of this....for roughly 230,000 Americans.

Because so few same sex people are actually tying the knot.

You can do the math. Something like 2% or 3% of the country is actually homosexual and 2% or 3% of that tiny subset are actually interested in anything like a heterosexual marriage relationship. That is maybe like 1/100th of 1% of the total population.

Of course the number of those actually claiming they are interested so they can sue or preen or claim their "rights" were violated is many, many times that number aided and abetted by their friends in the enemedia.

It's really about the normalizing of something that is abnormal. Because of "gay marriage" becoming legal, kids' parents have to be referred to as "Parent A" and "Parent B", rather than "mom and dad". Kids are now taught that heterosexuality is but one of many options available to them, and that same-sex attraction is normal, as is confusion over one's gender.

The numbers are irrelevant. Either the very nature of marriage has been changed with the first one, or it never will be.
