The murder / suicide at Univ of South Carolina on Thursday may have had something to do wth this - a professor fired his Teachers Assistant on Wednesday after “a long relationship” - she apparently didn’t take too kindly to the dismissal so she killed the professor then herself right in the classroom. The school was locked down for about an hour but when it was clear who this was - the school went back to its regularly scheduled classes - except in the buildng where the murder was committed.
