Icelanders will soon be able to publicly worship at a shrine to Thor, Odin and Frigg with construction starting this month on the islands first major temple to the Norse gods since the Viking age. Worship of the gods in Scandinavia gave way to Christianity around 1,000 years ago but a modern version of Norse paganism has been gaining popularity in Iceland.

Most people have become non-believers in any gods, except for their own personal version of a father/ son deity that derived out of the middle east. Each version of this dynamic duo, boasting dozens of different sects that are in total opposition to each other, and all of them claiming to know them in a different, but correct way.
Maybe gods just don't exist, period, pagan or otherwise
But I don't think that's got anything to do with “luck”, or any other form of superstition.
How high minded and reasonable of you, to have a hierarchy of respect for various belief systems, (all of them violently opposed to your beliefs) vs peaceful non-believers, who don't want to be involved in any belief system that revolves around a human sacrifice for some promised eternal “salvation”.
"Then you respect arrogant, Christian haters."
Where do you get such silly ideas about people?
I'm perfectly comfortable around people of various religious beliefs, as long as they aren't banging on my door trying to sell it to me.
I certainly dont hate my own family, many who I would surmise are quite a bit more devout then you, based on your stated prejudices. And I suspect that's true of most people, regardless of their *personal* beliefs, none of which belong in the public arena.
But some people, ( like those crazy Muslims in the middle east), aren't going to be happy until everyone subscribes to *their* belief system, and their particular sect. Is that your agenda as well, or can you learn to deal with the fact that a truly free society shouldn't require a belief in some supernatural being/s?
Your comments are quite silly, lacking intelligence, knowledge or reason.
