"Could you be a church in Selma and not march, just handle your own community?" says pastor Stan Mitchell of GracePointe Church. "I dont think I can do that."
Three Sundays ago in Franklin, Tenn., twenty minutes south of Nashville and in the heart of the countrys contemporary Christian music industry, pastor Stan Mitchell of GracePointe Church preached what was perhaps the most important sermon of his life. You can watch it abovestart around 44:40 if you are short on time.

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. You will become one with the "Northeast/West Coast Cultural" Borg. Only at the end of the article does read this now heretical church has lost half its members.

They know the homos have more money to drop in their offering plates. Another “religious” group sells their souls to the Devil.

Good example how heresy is a direct path to decadence.

I presume this “church” stands ready to recognize the “equality” of my “marriage” to my car.

Carrie Underwood is praised for being an outspoken Christian. Too bad she supports anti-Christian marriage.

I had not thought of that, the donation$ angle. But I watch HGTV a lot and the homes that are owned by two gay men are always so nice. I figure two men with the kind of incomes that men can make, much more than two women or a man and a woman can earn. Lots of donations!

If you marry your car, will it be eligible for Obamacare insurance?

Does this so-called church prefer to delete certain verses from the Bible?
I call this a “wide gate” church.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

I read where this "Evangelical church" besides formerly allowing homosexuals communion, membership, etc. also allowed homosexuals to be baptized, so their move to allow homosexuals to be leaders isn't such a far move after all!
Baptism after all requires repentance and evidently Grace Point never believed homosexuals had anything to repent of.
No surprise they should continue their slide further into fully welcoming homosexuals into leadership and possibly pastoral roles?

I hope they are consistent and support polygamous and poly-amorous relationships as well. The the goal will be reached of marriage = nothing/everything.

Could you be a church in Selma and not march, just handle your own community? Mitchell asks. I dont think I can do that. We are on the front edge of a movement that means so much.
He's equating standing up for gay marriage to pastors who marched for civil rights? No wonder he's lost half his base and half the donations. I'm surprised so many are staying.

The devil declared in Isaiah 14:13 "I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation"
This Church like many other congregations in post-Christian America, are just doing what they can to help Satan acheive his satanic goal.

I am under the impression GracePointe has been a wide gate or broad way congregation from its inception. I warned an old friend to flee 8-9 years ago.
