He was not thrown out.

He left early because he had to take care of his mom if I remember correctly. She was ill. He then later on ran for WI state assembly and won, and was one for awhile, then later ran for Milwaukee County Exec and won, several times, and then ran for Governor and won.

I believe he is working to finish his degree.

Yeah, I mean what happened to her made me angry to a point that I may have been and still am irrational over it.

That is the question that I keep coming back too.

If that had been my mom, I may not have been able to govern the state. I would have had to go and save my mom.

The thing is, if that is how a civilization and its civilized people treat someone who cannot fend for themselves and is dependent on our mercy for life, then I really don’t want anything to do with that civilization.

That was a truly hideous thing that was done to her.

Legalize, not give them citizenship, in fact, he has stated emphatically, that they should never get citizenship.

Furthermore, following are Ted Cruz's stated positions on Illegal Immigration and Border related issues, does Walker have anything that approaches this?:

7. Border Security - fund and provide oversight for the full implementation of border security measures already signed into law

8. End Birthright Citizenship - move the U.S. in line with most other nations and stop the policy of giving automatic citizenship at birth to children when both parents are illegal aliens?

9. End Chain Migration - implement the bi-partisan, national Jordan Commission recommendation to limit family-based immigration to the nuclear family of spouse and minor children, thus eliminating the "chain migration" categories of extended family that are the key reason immigration has quadrupled since the 1960s

10. End Visa Lotteries - institute safeguards that will prevent importation of foreign workers any time they would threaten the jobs or depress the wages of American workers

11. Reduce Total Immigration - Until 1976, U.S. immigration tradition was an average of around 250,000 a year; since new legislation in 1990, it has averaged 1,000,000 a year. This government-forced rapid population expansion will require huge increases in energy, roads and other infrastructure and services.

So you are saying you are supporting this "temporary legalization which as the article says could become "permanent legalized residency" for millions.

That was a tactical move by Sen Cruz during the debate over the 2013 Senate bill. His sole proposed amendment was to remove the pathway to citizenship. He stressed that the proponents would get everything else that they asked for. Cruz thereby managed to reveal the Democrat's true objective, which was, and remains, to add to the Democrat voting base, not to bring anyone "out of the shadows".

Illegals themselves will tell you they want to stay in the shadows. Incredibly hard to get over on the US gravy train if you give up your data.

They are not liars. Walker was fo a path to citizenship. We call that amnesty. Now he says he is against amnesty. But is he against a path to citizenship? These are different as the Gang of 8 tells us. And they may be different in his mind. So when he clearly states what he will do about illegal aliens the problem I will have is determining if I can believe him. Trust. That is the real problem. I’m running pretty low on it.
