This is the future of transportation if you have cheap oil. Cars of all sizes getting 30+ MPH and plentiful oil, to feed the engine of commerce. This is where the real war on America is being fought by the Dems.
watched last 20 minutes or so of FNS...Abbot did not do a very good job of shooting down common core
Power Player of The Week ...former NFLer Riggo(sp) sorry dont know him, but why did he want to marry the dirty pro abortionist Sandra Day O`Connor...so obviously he is also a loser
I’m not an expert on any of this but you wonder if all these guys are lying or not.

“This information ties in with all the information from Stew Webb in our Youtube Channel at www.youtube.com/projectnsearch that while at Ford Motor company he was forced to destroy carburetors that were getting 45 mpg instead of the normal 13mpg on a heavy v8 vehicle! The plant manager told Stew that Ford was getting heat over the carburetors so they had to be removed and taken to the city dump and destroyed with a bull dozer while they watched! Please spread the word about the criminal US government that has intentionally kept this technology from the people! Spread this information everywhere! Todays cars should be getting hundreds of miles per gallon! Its all a big joke and the joke is on us! Dont trust anything the government tells you or that you see on the Fake News on TV!

High Mileage Carburetors
[ Many of us have heard that there were people years ago, back in the 60’s(?), who developed very efficient “carburetors”, that got 100 mpg or more. I do remember an article in Popular Mechanics back in the 1960’s which even got the cover photo for the month, telling about a guy who built a carburetor for his sedan which vaporized the fuel and enabled his V8 to get over 100 mpg. — editor, FEV ]
From Popular Science, December 1957, page 79:
The fuel, of course, goes along in suspension.
Raw, indigestible fuel slobbers into the cylinders into some more than others.
Slobbering engines are fuel hogs.
Gasoline in the liquid form does not even burn, much less, explode. Only the vapor that comes from the gasoline will burn. Therefore, to mix raw gasoline with air, and attempt to explode it in an internal combustion engine is a very wasteful, costly, and polluting practice. It also shortens the life of the engine and exhaust system.
Exceptional Mileage Claimed For New Carburetor, Mass Transportation, December 1936, page 406.
This carburetor was the invention of Charles Nelson Pogue, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The Pogue carburetor system received widespread news coverage in 1935 and 1936.
Test made with passenger automobiles indicates that cars equipped with this new carburetor will operate 200 miles per gallon. Although the exceptional mileage is of greatest importance, the new carburetor is said to have many other advantages in the way of reducing maintenance.
In the course of our research, we have personally interviewed several older citizens (from Canada and the U.S.) who remember the Pogue test and widespread publicity . some were eyewitnesses.
100 Miles On One Gallon Of Gas? Chicago Members Say Its Possible The Machinist, October 8, 1953 page 7.
This I.A.M. Lodge 48 member-inventor says 100- 400 miles per gallon of gasoline is indeed possible.”
inquiring minds...
Kinda hard for him when he was tagged team by Bennet and Wallace after every sentence.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis
Ryan says they are going to first look for common ground with Obama’s budget. A better answer is for the House to cut spending and write a optional flat tax of 9%. Than if something of Obama’s is common ground include it.
An aside; It’s so sad Boehner has been there 4 years going along with the Democrat’s spending as the connected continue to enjoy lavish perks.
Ryan agrees the economy has gotten better? Sorry, the underlying Quantitative easing of the Feds $80 billion a month and new GDP math that includes big Health Care insurance spending and the real unemployment/underemployment show the reality of the Economic Stagnation(at best, it’s actually worse) of the implemented Democratic Party Economic Policies.
Good morning AB and all!
AB - I’m also interested in what Walker has to say and what Gotcha Georgie tries to pull on him. I watched his speech at King’s Summit in Iowa and I was pleasantly surprised in what he said and his delivery(many on FR have posted how he’s not very charismatic and needs to give more energetic speeches (paraphrasing).
Pat, sorry you have to go through so much with your daughter. I hope and pray that things will get better for you. Thank goodness Caitlin has you!!
THIS WEEK (ABC): Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wis
Right away the host wants to get him to say he would go to war in Syria, wish he would have said in Obama terms this is a bigger mess than Bush left, Candy (might as well have been her...), and Americans are going to have to confront it for the sake of National Security along with standing up for what is right for freedom loving/respecting people around the world. Do you understand the current ‘coalition’ strategy hasn’t been a decisive win against this “mess”, Candy?....
I hope we see some great football, too. That said, I wouldn’t be disappointed if my Hawks played like they did last year and NE plays like Denver did, but I’m not counting on it.
I am a 12th Woman - - we don’t do calm.
GO HAWKS!!!!
Having wireless issues this a.m., so I may be in and out of this thread for a little while. Need to don my Wilson #3 jersey and my Seahawks SB Champions XLVII hat and leave in a few hours to get hors d’oeuvres for the game and head to a get-together to cheer on my Hawks :-)
Closing Alaska may have more to do with helping the Saudis, Venezuela and Iran than we ever know.
I think that’s why O is so against anything that makes US independent...
He needs to help his buddies.
He’s the only president who I could see actually moving to a foreign country after he leaves office....
Not exactly, but the extreme lean running engine will lack power and consume metals in the combustion chamber, burning valves and piston tops. Probably the best companion to lean-burn is water injection.
Carburetors are inherently inefficient, followed by the central intake manifold with unequal length runners. The best setup would be one small carb per cylinder, each with a long runner...and a way to heat the runners for vaporization.
It's true that fuel vapors burn better than atomized liquid, but the folly of the myth can be easily proven by asking the driver of a propane vehicle what he gets for mileage. That rig, of course, is a true vapor carburetor. If the allegation were true, he should be getting hundreds of miles per gallon.
The best fuel economy and performance can be achieved with a properly matched small displacement turbo engine. It will produce the power and torque when needed, and then revert to a small-displacement fuel miser once cruising speed is reached.
Abbott did one item just not well enough
No Federal money if state does not do Common Core
Bill the Dictator Bennett jumped up and down to distract from this point
Steponallofus has to hate Walker with every fiber of his hair.
Rocklobster is correct - simple physics
If you desire 50 mpg buy a 1500lb deathtrap that does not accelerate.
I agree!
That jumped out at me as well. There should be no such thing as "federal money".
The math and language standards side of the argument has merit, but the fiscal coercion does not.
Now just a minute - There are N.E. Fans out here - and we like soft balls and ANYTHING Belachick (spelling?) does
The NEW America’s team - Too bad they live in N.E.
I just hope both teams show up ready to play
Except, I don't think that applies to a TDI. There are also other ways to do it with even less engine and more acceleration.
“Hes the only president who I could see actually moving to a foreign country after he leaves office....”
My dream is that the incoming Republican president launches an investigation into Zero’s background, finds that he was not a legal citizen, & forces him to leave the country.
Not likely, I know. But I can dream...
If it’s Hillary, she may.
