Sarah Palin is being smeared in headlines from the Huffington Post to the Washington Examiner for her 35-minute speech at Saturdays Iowa Freedom Summit. In 2015, Palinophobia is as palpable as it was in 2008. After six years, the media still tears into the superstar from Wasilla like rabid dogs.
The Washington Examiner's Byron York called the speech "long, rambling and at times barely coherent ... By the time Palin finished speaking, it was hard for anyone to believe she truly is 'seriously interested' in running for president."
From Huffington Post: "Sarah Palin's Bizarre Iowa Speech Gets Thanks From Democrats"
BBC.com said her speech was "all noise, signifying nothing."
John Fund of National Review Online:
... her [Palin's] meandering and often bizarre .... Sample line: The man can only ride you when your back is bent, so strengthen it so America wont get taken for a ride. She will always be an entertaining speaker at conservative events, but she clearly lacks the discipline for a full-fledged campaign.
Fund failed to realize that Palin based her remark on a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr.: "A man can't ride your back unless it's bent."

All I can say is, “Mrs. Palin.. WEAR THEIR ASSES OUT.”
To: sickoflibs
I heard her teleprompter broke in the middle and she
started rambling to take up time,.
**************
The telepromter froze and Palin begin looking at the notes she had with her as
reference points for the speech. So it was disjointed in the smoothness of the flow.

The BBC, John Fund, Byron York, and so many other liberal intellectuals (phhhhht...) did not recognize a quote from Martin Luther King.Same intellectuals who can't see that our President is illegal and a complete liar.
Same intellectuals who prosper from mayhem and violence, not peace and the American way.

Except these are largely people who have supported her in the past. But did they REALLY support her? Free Republic is Palin Country and this website's stalwart members stand resolutely with Governor Sarah Palin. She has what it takes to restore America's Biblical principles and set the Republic's course on the right path.
Go Sarah go! The road to the White House is wide open for you! May Almighty God continue to Bless you and your beautiful family on your journey!

RE:”
In other words, Soros and his minions in the media are still terrified of Our Sarah and what she stands for.
More reason to elect her in 2016!!” The same media who helped propagate the scam that she was running back in 2011? When she couldn't have been because of her job at FNC? Seems like they helped her out a lot that year.

I heard this one last week (not the King connection, though). I wondered if she meant to say "straighten" it. "Strengthen" is good, too, but doesn't fit into the context. OTOH, "straighten" would work better if she added something like "and stand tall and proud".
Over-thinking it, I know.

I am so glad to see this article. All I saw and read were what an incoherent and bizarre speech it was. I had to go to youtube to see it for myself. I thought it was great. And now I see the quote that they used as evidence of her insanity was from MLK! I love it! (and thank God for Sarah Palin!) I am surprised that even at freerepublic, there are a lot of Palin haters. Not Jim Robinson though. :) Thank God for Jim Robinson too!

"Sarah Palin's Bizarre Iowa Speech Gets Thanks From Democrats" If she is such a dingbat with no chance of getting the nomination, why would the Democrats thank the stars that she gave a poor speech?
You would think they would be doing everything they could to get her nominated.

Sarah made many great comments in her much maligned Iowa speech. My favorite: "It is war," Palin said at one point. "It is war for the future of our country, for the sovereignty and solvency of the United States of America."
The political savant nails it again.
That's what they fear. They know in their hearts (those that have one) that she's right.

O' Please, give it a rest! Palin only takes what is good and leaves the rest. Bottom line, is that they hate this good and moral woman. Period! Palin has led the fight since coming on the scene in 2008. She and Mark Levin have inspired the likes of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and so many others who have risen above the "Go along to get along;" wusses with no backbone, no principles and frankly "No Balls," to fight the good fight. And they HATE them. God Bless Palin and Levin!😃
