'Muslim Brotherhood call for ‘long, uncompromising jihad’ The Muslim Brotherhood called for “a long, uncompromising jihad” in Egypt just days after a delegation of the Islamist group’s key leaders and allies met with the State Department, according to an official statement released this week.
Just days after a delegation that included two top Brotherhood leaders was hosted at the State Department, the organization released an official statement calling on its supporters to “prepare” for jihad, according to an independent translation of the statement first posted on Tuesday.
The statement also was issued just two days before a major terror attack Thursday in Egypt’s lawless Sinai region that killed at least 25.
“It is incumbent upon everyone to be aware that we are in the process of a new phase, where we summon what is latent in our strength, where we recall the meanings of jihad and prepare ourselves, our wives, our sons, our daughters, and whoever marched on our path to a long, uncompromising jihad, and during this stage we ask for martyrdom,” it states.

Agreed. But I believe that there are too great a number of those that call themselves “Republicans” in Congress that are so overwhelmingly terrified of losing their money, their power, their mansions, their fancy cars, etc; they would rather see this nation get thrown to the dogs of islam than defend it with their lives and trust in the Lord God to help them to accomplish it.
And just what are we to suppose the subject and purpose of that meeting were? MB is discussing strategy and tactics with its leader, the Sultan in Washington.
Perhaps the MB is his group. If they plot strategy at the State Department it is likely that the USA is the main backer of the MB.

So....the Egyptian military has always thought itself a force for secular rule as with Turkey’s. Its senior general is now President of Egypt, and he has mightily angered the MB.

“The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.
State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki claimed last week that the controversial delegation of key Brotherhood leaders and allies had been “organized and funded by Georgetown University.”
However, the university denied this is the case when reached by the Washington Free Beacon.
Psaki clarified her original comments made on Jan. 29 during a Monday meeting with reporters.
The meeting between the Brotherhood allies and the State Department sparked controversy in Washington and Cairo, where Egyptian government officials expressed anger at the Obama administration for hosting representatives of a group they consider to be terrorists.
The State Department meeting was attended by a deputy assistant secretary for democracy, human rights, and labor and other State Department officials.
While Psaki continued to defend the decision to host the Brotherhood allies at the State Department, she clarified that Georgetown actually had nothing to do with the delegation....
When asked by a reporter “if there’s been any rethink in—within the building about the appropriateness of this visit, considering what happened afterwards and the photographs that some of the participants took,” Psaki responded, “No.”
While at the State Department last week, one member of the delegation, a Brotherhood-aligned judge in Egypt, posed for a picture in which he held up the Islamic group’s notorious four-finger Rabia symbol, according to his Facebook page.
Psaki went on to say that the Obama administration remains comfortable entertaining the Brotherhood.”
Lies and more lies. Wonder what, or who, at Georgetown did that they wanted to slander its name?
Can't have that according to their plans.
Perhaps this meeting with the MB’s is connected to O’s behind the scenes (private meetings) and dealings with Iran and its demands.
