“I don’t see any need for Congress to confirm somebody to be the chief law enforcement officer of this nation who is at that table insisting that she intends to execute a policy that is contrary to law and to what Congress desires and what the American people desire. And says that someone here unlawfully is as much entitled to a job in this as somebody who is here lawfully. It is just beyond my comprehension,” Sessions said.

He would have to do nothing. Just dont schedule a vote. That being said she will get 60 or more votes in favor

Sessions has been my fav Senator for years now. Nice, soft spoken, gentlemanly, but perfectly solid in his beliefs/philosophy, a real tiger.

What I like about Sessions is that he can stake out a principled conservative position without sounding strident. And I like your word “gallant” for him.

One sane man in a chamber with 99 mad men isn’t all that exciting. Can’t they filibuster her?
Senator Sessions is what they have in mind when the words “Southern gentleman” are used. He is a man of honor. He stands up for what he believes no matter who gets mad. Of course he has the safest seat in the Senate, but he has always been the same. Probably why his seat is safe. People in Alabama like straight talk.
Senator Jeff Sessions is one the few -- the very few -- contemporary U.S. Senators who would've fit right in with the Founding Fathers.
Can you imagine John McCain...or Lindsay Graham...or Al Franken...or Diane Feinstein...among that distinguished assembly?
God Bless Sessions. One of the remaining good ones.
