GUSTINE, Texas A group of students at an elementary school in Texas were apparently asked to lower their pants for a poop inspection on Monday.
School educators told two dozen students they were regularly finding feces on the gym floor. The students were then separated into groups of boys and girls and ordered to pull down their pants so administrators could check if they could find anything.

Did they find the pooper?
Oh brother I just realized that is true. my sister said she. Found. A Somali woman doing that in restroom. On the floor. She gave her hell. Put a camera in gym.
...and people wonder why the Boy Scouts have their policy.
Excuse me all the HE*L everyone,
This is sexual molestation - pure and simple.
Don’t think so?
Just YOU try it on some kid and see where YOU go - and what list YOU will be on for the rest of your life.
Nearly 40 years ago, in Rockwall, TX, I went to a private school and begged the teacher to let me go to the bathroom during swim period. She refused and I went in the pool. They were lining kids up to do this same kind of check and I said, “Yeah, no, it was me. I did ask to go, remember?”
Probably not those exact words since I was kindergarten age, but this isn’t a new thing to me.
I’m glad that you added the parenthetical explanation at the end of the headline — I might have thought that this occurred at UT-Austin.
“If there’s no $#!*, you must acquit.”
“Toilet papers, please.” - School cop
The Mad Crapper of Estes Kefauver Memorial High, in Dacron, Ohio got transferred?
I remember that on Okinawa the standard practice was to let little kids go bare bottomed until they got potty trained. You’d see them squatting in the streets all the time.
I also remember once in a bathroom in the air terminal at Kadena I was using the urinal and some South Vietnamese pilots came in and looked around kinda unsure then all three of them started pi$$ing in the sinks.
Glad I’m not the only one who remembers the Lampoon yearbook. Did you figure out who the Mad Crapper really was?
From the medical article:
Punishing or humiliating a child with encopresis will only make matters worse.
The damned teachers and administrators should already this, so heads should roll.
“Turd graders climbing ropes?”
I hated the rope climb while in prep school. Always got rope burns going down.
there has to be a huckster out there somewhere who will try to making a financial killing in this
Somebody with a pant load is dropping it in the gym. Most likely they are spreading it everywhere they go, everywhere they sit, everything they touch.
That's a serious health problem for the school, & likely a serious problem for the “pooper”, who has difficulty with self control - possibly a physical problem, & who will suffer greatly from his peers if this problem is not solved.
I have no problem with the school health person, along with another person of appropriate sex & responsibility, to privately inspect every child in that school. If the health department needs to do this inspection, then so be it.
When you have a disease spreading situation in a public school, then checking/testing of the kids is appropriate.
As a parent, which is more important to you: The slight chance that a pedophile might briefly see your child's privates, or your kids come home very sick requiring medical attention? E coli & other fecal borne diseases can kill you & your kids, a little uncomfortable embarrassment cannot.
Regarding the possible embarrassment to the child, we have all been there. I remember as a child how shy I was having to disrobe in front of others. It is something we all have to get over given that we will suffer this minor indignity many times in our life. If we live long enough we will likely suffer the indignity of having someone else bathe us & change our diaper until we die. Get used to it.
