Talk about a fierce frown from FLOTUS! Michelle Obama's disapproving expression while meeting the new leader of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, Jan. 27, said it all -- and it's gone viral.
The First Lady, 51, was snapped alongside her husband Barack Obama in Riyadh, paying respects to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the successor of the late King Abdullah, during what was a quick stop in the country for the funeral. As King Salman shook hands with the President, the First Lady was photographed frowning at the royal.
At times, she looked rather uncomfortable and annoyed, even, as she and her husband met with Saudi officials.

She didn't wear a head scarf at the event. That is required for Saudi women, and suggested for foreign female visitors. Because she didn't wear a head scarf, some Saudis at the event refused to shake hands with her. Maybe that's one reason she looked a little put-off.
So I say three cheers for her. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, as the saying goes. But ignore that saying when your hosts are backwards, and medieval in the worst sense of the word.
Angry black women come in handy on occasion.
I’m curious and can’t recall - has she worn a head covering in other middle eastern countries? If so, the question is why she didn’t during this trip. She can’t have done it in the past and now claim “feminism” - I think bitch is the right reason.
Egads. She always looks so angry.
If I visited Saudi Arabia with my wife, she’d wear a hijab. It would be a show of humility and respect and there’s nothing unchristian about it. However, if she was in some position of authority it would be inappropriate (like when Bush’s chicks donned hijabs in an act of dhimmitude). I think Michelle is a vile, hate filled, goon who can’t conceal her hatred for the world, but her attire in this photo seems fine.
When in lovely Rome do as the Romans do. When in Saudi Arabia - thumb your nose.
This is all kabuki. More and more people suspect this man is a Muslim, and she is defiant in the face of interacting with these Muslims as an inferior woman-wife.
I don’t believe a word of any of it, defiance or no. This uncovered head thing is a put-up. She looks like she does in this picture because she’s a selfish, entitled b!tch.
Her job at the University of Chicago Hospital ($300K/year) was to convince poor people to go to a taxpayer supported county hospital for their expensive ailments so the hospital could get them high dollar insurance patients instead. One stone cold b!tch.
I expected her to do something ignorant like this. She believes she is a QUEEN and everyone should bow to her ugly self instead of her doing it to real King not her husband who she thinks is a King..Pathetic trash the both of the Obamas..
Perfect!
The covering of women is nothing less than the shackles of slaver demanded by islam. Islam and its men can go jump off a cliff before I would put on slave garb....good for that very unhappy woman at least she made a stand, more than I can say about most dealing with islam and its evils.
I don’t have any problem with what she was wearing, except that it was not appropriate for the occasion, and that is a serious faux pas.
Queen Elizabeth 2 is real royalty. A little curtsy to her would be a nice gesture. To bow to these murderous thugs is completely unnecessary.
Michelle here is the broken clock being right twice a day. Although her motivation is more “F*** that” than striking a blow for woman in SA.
If I can’t drive a car in your country, I’m not covering my head.
PMS perhaps?
That’s just her normal look.
These liberals want us to show respect for Mooselimbs but they don’t?
I don’t give a red rat’s rectum what the he-she and the she-he do. They are both utterly classless and an embarrassment to my country, and would be more at home looting some electronics store.
