“Mayor Putz can’t even get a blizzard right!” de Blasio tried to wipe the egg off his face....b/c he had overreacted. He defended the shutting of roads, schools and mass transit, insisting New Yorkers “got lucky” when accumulation barely topped 6 inches.....his restrictions were far from ordinary and far from necessary. One business-owner complained unreasonable demands for early closings cost him $3 million....he was still steamed by de Blasio’s warning that business owners should not be “cheapskates.”

The storm also exposed that the mayor and the governor.....once described as longtime friends... clearly don’t talk to each other, or even cooperate. de Blasio said he didn’t know the governor was closing down the subways.....but quickly defended the decision.

With gazillions worth of city overtime racked up waiting for a blizzard that didn’t arrive, the cost to taxpayers will be the real snow job.

voted for him and who he represents. He is the poster tard

Even more ominous---Gov Slowmo closed down roads--- warning hard-working, law-abiding drivers who ventured out he would consider that would a crime and levy a $300 fine.

This from a scumbag who calculatedly stopped the Moreland Commission from investigating government corruption.

Cuomo's fast-tracked to becoming a loser like Loosiana Landrieu---this one actually vilified her own voters---saying they were "too conservative" to understand what a great candidate she was....and that she had to dupe them into voting for her.

It snowed five inches......but power-mad Cuomo was actually threatening the citizenry with force---a misdemeanor and a fine for violating his travel ban....not over an actual storm, but the threat of a storm!

Course, anytime Blowmo gets in front of a mic is a good thing---b/c it showcases the guy's shortcomings.

Cuomo has about as much charisma and political presence as a boiled kale stem.

THE REAL STORY

Mrs DeBlobbio loudly declared her lesbianism in a magazine article---she was in a black feminist lesbian group and wrote poetry about being a lesbian. Politicker noted her husband's campaign website doesn't reference her background as an avowed lesbian and a lesbian activist or lesbian poet: It notes her affiliation with the Combahee River Collective, omitting mention of the group’s lesbian roots, referencing it as "a pioneering black feminist collective."

They met while both worked for Dinkins. She says she had a nose ring and wore African garb when he spotted her and was completely smitten. She never told him she was a lesbian. And later said after their marriage she was still attracted to women.

During the campaign, she was asked about her lesbian lifestyle----she retorted she "didn't understand the question."

The Blobbio's honeymooned in Communist Cuba. Musta been a shock on their wedding night when Blobbio came out of the shower in a towel. "You want to put what where," said the startled lesbian.

To be honest, storms zig, and storms zag. It missed by 50 miles, but still Long Island and New England got hit. New York City dodged a bullet.

I got about a foot of snow in Queens. That was the lower end of the predicted amount. I had to drive 20 miles each way just before the blizzard hit, to have an emergency root canal. I was GRATEFUL for the salting and plowing, and I can personally attest that the driving was VERY hazardous. If I tried to go over 15 mph, my car started fishtailing. There were lots and lots of people out on the road who obviously hadn’t a clue about how to drive in snow. They made the slick driving all the more hazardous. So closing the roads at 11 p.m., when the snow was really getting going, was not a stupid idea. I despise both DeDumDum and Cuomo, but I agree that they followed a prudent course of action, given the weather reports we were getting at the time.

Have to grudgingly grant him a pass on that one. Every one else believed the computer models too.

So, a computer model can be wrong in the short term, but not when it predicts the next hundred years? Nail in the AGW coffin.

Liberals just cannot accept the fact that the natural forces of the planet and the universe are not fully predictable or subservient to them.

As American in Israel insightfully posted: "His reaction was about power, what good is Fascism if you cannot wield the power. His reaction was not to the blizzard, because there was no blizzard to react to. Just a little slip of the progressive mask."
