Mike Huckabee Complains of Trashy Women at Fox News By ADAM B. LERNER 1/27/15 Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said in a recent radio appearance that while in New York for his Fox News show, he experienced significant culture shock from all the trashy women swearing in a professional setting. In the South, or in the Midwest, there in Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the F-bomb or use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting, Huckabee told host Jan Mickelson in a Friday appearance on Des Moines Mickelson in the Morning.

As Cole Porter put it:
“...Good authors, too, who once knew better words,
now only use four letter words, writing prose... ANYTHING GOES!”
Bump!!!
We had to wear dresses or skirts/blouses to school even as a student at Mississippi State. I can remember bobby socks and black/white saddle oxfords. As a freshman, we wore pants one day because it was snowy and very cold. The girls were really outnumbered but we never had any problems except for the panty raids at the other dorm! : ) You know, I really do not know for sure that those took place. Fun years and great memories.
Kids repeat what they hear. It is a shame.
You are not mpressing anyone.
They sure do.
So he was upset by the trashy women, but worked there anyway for how long? I would much rather hang out with foul mouthed women than a guy that pardons violent felons so they can kill again.
I stand by what I said. What did he say that was wrong?
As usual, the left-leaning media create a quote out of whole cloth, impute the made-up quote to a conservative politician, and everyone including conservatives take it as gospel and jump all over the politician for something he never actually said.
In this case, Huckabee never said anything about “trashy women”. He was talking about the profanity and vulgarity he heard backstage at Fox from both men AND women. His actual statement was:
“In the South, or in the Midwest, there in Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the F-bomb or use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting. In New York, not only do the men do it, but the women. My gosh, this is worse than locker-room talk. As we would say in the South, thats just trashy.”
So his statement was that the use of profanity was trash, whether by men OR women. But that is not what is reported, and we all just eat it up rather than actually investigating it for ourselves...
Actually, you are the joke. You are jumping all over Huckabee because in your mind, he singled out women. But if you actually bothered to read the quote, he talked about both men and women using profanity, and was saying it was the use of profanity by both that was trashy, not the women.
Next time, try reading the story before commenting.
Huckabee hasn't been a preacher for 20 years. Are you saying every Christian should quit their job because someone there is cussing?
Read the whole quote. He did not call any women "trashy". He called the practice of using profanity and vulgarity in a professional setting by men OR women "trashy".
Girls curse more today
I don’t like it
Yes I’m a hypocrite
Only one appropriate place to curse
In the cheering section so to speak
I still love the Fox women
Stone Cold Foxes they are
God love em
Nice memories.
I love to watch Cavuto and do so most everyday
Towards the end of a program he commonly has two lawyers to argue both sides of an issue. Most of the time they are women
I call them Breastisters. They are not old school Brit Barristers, they are new school TV news Breastisters
Generally I don’t like the segments because they seem shallow, veneer like
Precious memories. One of my daughters died in 04 and her daddy joined hr in 06. I made another memory recently. I went to the store, came out to what looked like my car. I used my remote and the door would not open. I really looked at it and I was trying to open another car. I just stood there and laughed. Don’t know what I would do without my little escapades. Life would not be nearly as fun without them. : )
I am so sorry for your losses. Very sad.
Yes, I have done stunts like that with cars. Can’t blame it on old age now, as I have been doing it for many years.
I coached HS baseball for 3 seasons. The profanity that regularly issued from our coaches and assistants only served to give the players more license.
I told them all - and successfully challenged myself - that they would NEVER hear me curse, on or off the ball field.
And they never did. ‘Loosing battle, it may have been, overall. But I held to my word. And at least a few kids seemed to follow suit.
BTT!
Good job! Plus, that memory will stick with those kids...don’t forget that!
