Whoever's in charge of presidential optics these days fits the classic definition of the blind leading the blind.
It's bad enough that President Obama doesn't have time to get to Paris for a global protest against terrorism after the Charlie Hebdo attack but can meet and greet the San Antonio Spurs.
But then he privately slams an invitation by Congress to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, our only true ally in a terror-stricken Middle East, with whom he has no time to speak, while he travels to Saudi Arabia to meet with new Saudi King Salman and extend our condolences on the death of King Abdullah.

could not go to France because it was too hard to arrange travel, but he can hop on a plane to Saudi Arabia on a moments notice?
Did he get summoned to bow to his new leader?
Seriously, the immediate response to this should be by the Alaska legislature, to do what Utah has done, and demand their state lands back from the federal government. The feds currently have taken of 69% of their land.
And their congressmen need to sponsor a resolution in congress that the courts should favor the return of federal land takings to the states, at such time that the states sue the federal government for the return of their lands.
