Jubilant Kurdish fighters ousted Islamic State militants from the key Syrian border town of Kobani on Monday after a four-month battle a significant victory for both the Kurds and the U.S.-led coalition.

And Congratulations to the brave Kurds of Kobani.
The enemy suffered over 1,000 killed, and failed in their objective.
this is a perfect time for someone to hit Raqqa Syria with a small nuke , just really waste them ....
The article mentions that Kurds have also recaptured Sinjar, the main town of the Yazidis.
Also interesting, the Kurds reported that ISIS had been running out of good troops recently in Kobani, and were sending more green recruits and even kids into the guns to be killed. They finally pulled out hastily, abandoning some weapons and supplies. ISIS might be focusing elsewhere, or they could be getting stretched everywhere.
They have been bleeding on several fronts, and it looks like they will have to defend Mosul this Summer from a large deliberate assault. They could be in for a mass casualty exercise there.
It’s a good thing to waste all those islamo nazi children , the brainwashed , murderous little bastards . It is also the perfect time to direct all air power to wipe Raqqa off the face of the planet . It not a low yield nuke strike , massive strategic bombing by the heavy bombers would do . Press the advantage , kill them in numbers wherever they congregate and immediately hang all captured ISIS fighters . Film and broadcast the public hangings widely in Europe .
I would expect that there are deliberate campaign plans by now to strategically defeat ISIS - within the American military, by the Iranians, and probably a few others.
All that is going to be coming down on them.
Operations are underway now to clear them from around Ar Ramadi. It seems that they are being attritted in many areas, and not gaining ground anywhere in Iraq anymore. In fact, it looks like they are being slowly pushed back.
While the situation is being shaped on the ground and they are being attritted, they can be hit anywhere within their rear area, including Raqaa, whenever intel provides a target.
I would anticipate that an assault on the major city of Mosul (this Summer) will be supported by strategic attacks in depth to disrupt their supply, communications and command and control.
In summary, I expect a Summer of Death for ISIS in Iraq, and plan to be personally prepared with popcorn and cold drinks.
I will join you ! Also purchasing a nice quality cigar to smoke when it is announced that they have greased al Baghdadi

Kurd Kommandos wipe out ISIS attack at West Bashiqha with auto`s, RPG and tank fire.
Agreed. But, I read somewhere that even with the coalition airstrikes and other aid, this is only a retaking of 1% of the territory ISIS holds in Iraq, and that ISIS is still gaining ground in Syria. Lots more work to do.
They are a fanatical scourge that will not stop until they kill everyone else that will not bow to them and their religion.
Look at Europe, its a mess.
At around 10:05 to 10:10, One Kurd shakes hands with a guy who is not like the others - baseball cap, hearing protection, modern radio on his chest, carbine slung in the front.
My guess is that he was calling in the air strikes.
If my wife goes through with her plan to divorce me, I think I will join up with them.

I am not without military experience. If I do end up going over there, and you see a pic of someone over there with a T-shirt that says “I am the danger” and has Walter White on it, (from Breaking Bad) — that is me.
Hope so! Hopefully ISIS will recruit as many wannabes from Europe and the U.S. and suck ‘em into the meat grinder. I’ll wait for the videos to be posted on you tube!
It’s the only way to stop them. Europe is screwed, and I believe the cold war borders in Europe will be back up in 5-10 years due to terrorist states emerging in the north and in France.
But.......but.......aren't snipers 'cowards'?
NO thanks to the US/Turks.
“...and that ISIS is still gaining ground in Syria.”
There was an article in the WSJ a few weeks ago that highlighted what you said.
Basically, the Syrian Army (heavily Allawite) is taking losses that they just can’t replace. ISIS and the regular opposition have been taking advantage of that fact and have secured more territory.
I wonder how much longer it’ll be before Assad, his family and inner circle say “Screw it, we’re outta here”.
I’d rather help defend the Kurds (including their women) than have to deal with the bitchy, materialistic, money-grubbing, disloyal, self-entitled “Love, Eat, Pray” narcissists that are Western women.
