The problem is that the “good news” on the economy is based largely on the Dems cooking the numbers and the fawning media running around quoting the these same numbers, all the while carefully making certain that none of them actually check them out. A recent article stated that, if unemployment data were compiled in the same way that it was back in the Reagan years, it would be over 15 percent. The Dems and the media can tell us as many times as they want to that everything is wonderful but we all know that our dollar isn’t going nearly as far as it did just a few years ago and that, if we lose our job, good luck finding another one. And . . let’s not even get started on the insurance debacle. This article, like many by the media, glosses over the facts.
