It's official: Nicolle Wallace really doesn't like Sarah Palin. On today's Morning Joe, Wallace—who was Palin's chief handler during the 2008 campaign—took the occasion of Palin's speech at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Saturday to jab at the former veep candidate.
Wallace had been asked to comment on conservative columnist Byron York's panning of Palin's speech as "long, rambling, and at times barely coherent." York's column also passed along criticism of the speech by a number of Iowa Republicans. Wallace said that it was interesting to see York come "full circle," since back in 2008 he had been a staunch Palin defender, blaming the campaign for the way she was packaged. Wallace then doubled down with this dig: "This is who she is. This to me is evidence that she has finally shed last one of those annoying handlers." Reeoorw!

This from one of the main reasons Governor Palin finds handlers annoying in the first place.

Nicolle Wallace is just awful! My take is that it`s one of those things were one person says something negative, and the rest get the hint and pile on.
Her speech was just fine.

Nicolle Wallace is a lefty who has already endorsed Hillary Clinton, she is already backing a candidate - she was not Palin’s target audience.

Nicole doesn’t talk about anything else but Sarah Palin and her contempt of her. No matter what show she’s on. It gets so old that’s why she’s on MS NBC. And that’s why they love her on the View. Get over Sarah, Nicole, it makes you look obsessed with her!

I think its funnier when they compare Mrs. Palin to Reagan. Not even close. Reagan wasn’t called the Great Communicator for nothing.
The “bent back” part of it is, from what i hear, part of a MLK quote. My guess is that, she meant to say straighten it. “The Man” is of course authority or government. In other words- stand up.
She did not have to say, “Straighten It”, as “Strengthen it” could mean, “Strength will keep it from ever bending forward”, which is better than the original.
The real GOP problem is seeing Palin as a problem.
It means buck up and ditch the GOPe.
If you strengthen your resolve, you can shed them and their burdensome policies.
DUH!
Having listened to it, and without re-reading it, I would say that it says don’t give bums - like ø - anything he can use to screw us into the ground.
And it particularly takes in enemy islamist bums who, if not dead, should be in Gitmo.
