My Gawd!!!
Just listened to this man and it was moving, stirring and rousing.
His parents didn't know Christ?
They found him and gave their lives to Jesus.
Transformed his family.
His Constitutional principles and ability to firmly assert what is right, under God.
He had 3 principles as his message but, for the life of me I'm too pumped, to bouyed to recall them.
If this man wants the presidency, I am all in
Mind, body, soul and spirit.
I don't see how we can lose 2016 if this man wants to lead America, not from behind but, from the front line, as the standard bearer, as the man who will take the hill by leading all men and moving first.
May God bless him and us, with a proper support group who will take us forward by his inertia and ours.
What did you do before you were an idiot?
There is a ping list. 2DV is handling it for me for a couple of weeks.
2DV, can you add TigerClaws to the Ted Cruz Ping List!
Thanks,
SCP
Yes! Right on! Those are my choices also!
He was born in Canada
Copy and paste... All that matters is: What was the defintion of “natural born” when the Constitution was written. Your ridiculous legal constructs are just dumb.
“I did not hear the speech, I dont know much about the guy. But from what I have seen, he is good at rhetoric but has he ever run anything in his life? Like a state or a fortune 500 company. I am sick of rhetoric.”
I understand your question but wonder if that’s the only yardstick you would use to measure competence. Cruz has successfully argued more than one case in front of the Supreme Court. He was also the first Hispanic Solicitor General of Texas, the youngest solicitor General of Texas and the longest serving Solicitor General of Texas. Cruz has held positions in the DOJ and the FTC and was a domestic policy advisor to Bush during the 2000 campaign. He’s also taught Constitutional Law at UT.
I would saw the man has proven whatever he does, he does well and that his motivation to serve his country is very high.
Maybe that counts for something?
Trump likes Cruz as well. Trump calls Cruz a “good friend.”
I know it’s irritating to some, but I welcome all the discussions about Cruz’s birthplace/citizenship, etc. We should be hashing it out here, in friendly territory. We should be researching it, and hopefully he has already done so. I consider him incredibly intelligent and I suspect he’s already light years ahead of anything I am going to find on the topic.
Anyway, my point is,,let’s argue it here. Sure, let’s get it out and out and out and out. That way, when the liberals and GOPe come after him on this topic, there will be thousands of statements on the topic. We’ll have ammo, fodder, information, links, etc to spread around the net. Cruz needs to get out in FRONT of this issue. The Dems are just laying in wait. We can soldier it and bring the correct answer out boldly so that the sting is taken out of it.
We on the Conservative team are the ones who should be discussing it and turning it over and trying to predict all the angles the Cruz-haters are going to try to use against him.
“Difference is Ted has a record, not as a Republican but, as a conservative Christian.”
Which is why he probably won’t be nominated to be the Republican candidate.
“I guess Im gullible. I always thought that conservatives were interested in the Constitution. Evidently not.”
You don’t understand. It’s OK for us to do whatever we have to in order to win no matter how much we howled when the other side did the same thing.
It’s not hypocrisy when we do it lol.
I liked the excitement you expressed. How moved you were. Cruz has been consistent in his conservative views. Never wavering. I live in Wisconsin and everyone on this site is cheering for Walker. They don’t see it. The answer is Cruz. Everyone else is an establishment candidate.
Karl Rove and Martha McCallum are on FNC fellating Walker and studiously avoiding mentioning Cruz’ name.
Trump likes Cruz as well. Trump calls Cruz a good friend.
For the record:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/06/10/ted-cruz-renounces-canadian-citizenship/
Ted Cruz renounces Canadian citizenship
AUSTIN, Texas Canada-born U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has given up his citizenship from
his birth country, making good on a promise from last summer.
Spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said the Tea Party favorite formally gave up his
citizenship May 14. He received official confirmation of the action at his
Houston home Tuesday.

That is great. Thank you for sharing that.
Here is my general concern ( and not just about Cruz): We have seen eight years of “management” by someone who doesn’t know how to manage large organizations.
The key thing about Republicans is they tend to hire good people to surround them, not just policy wonks. Anyone who has been as first line supervisor understands that you need to be able to manage people and systems in any larger organization.
Your examples make me like him enough to actually spend an hour or so on the computer to learn more.
The bad news is that I live in MA. So in my lifetime of voting, the only election where my vote, as a conservative republican, mattered was the first Brown election.
So my support is for my own sanity alone.
Again, thank you for your post.
Oh, thats a good way to garner support from for your candidate.
Are you a douche bag that has only been filled once, or do you get used daily?
I love how you guys can express support for your candidates.
Ooooohhhh they look good. (Cruz does not.)
Oooooh they are the right guy! (But you cannot explain why.)
OOooooooh, you are a RINO. (Ah, instead of giving me one thing in favor of your guy, you call names.)
If you wonder why the Republican party is run by RINOs it is because YOU and your ilk cannot form a complete sentence in favor of your candidate.
I am seriously asking why he is so great and what he has done. I am interested in why he gets some of you so worked up. I can google all day long, but that does not give me the answer to why he moves YOU.
But, it is clear that you are not capable of discussion. I get that.
I think I will offer FR $1,000 if they could come up with a way to block other users from your view of the time line. Then I could spend my time and effort dealing with people who wish to discuss something. Not morons who can only cheer or insult, as if they are escapees from the local mental health facility.
The reason why I asked the question, without going to google is this: I want to understand what about this guy gets the people in TX all excited.
When GWB was first thinking of running, I was spending a week in Texas. I asked everyone I met about him. I found some interesting comments and responses from the people.
Just as I have personal reasons why I hate Mitt Romney after having him as Governor, I found that more people loved having Bush as President—and expressed it in a way that made me a lot more comfortable voting for him.
It is not laziness, but rather looking for something other than media stories about him, and the “excited, one word rants” than you sometimes get.
Thanks for your response. I know it was intended as a quasi-insult. But I am trying to turn a new leaf on FR and respond positively to folks that are not directly insulting me with reason and appreciation. So again, thank you.
