If you follow that logic, the only fire arms we can legally own are flintlocks. What matters is the definition of natural born now. BTW, the authors of the Constitution took the little issue of “natural born” into account by writing in a grandfather clause or exclusion for their generation who were all citizens or subjects of England at the time the document was written. Ted Cruz, in spite of being more of a patriot than anyone else running, is NOT constitutionally eligible to run for the office of President of the U.S. Not subject to interpretation, it is written in the Constitution in plain, understandable English.
