If Jeb Bush seeks Republican presidential nod, immigration may be his most serious issue The onslaught by email began when Florida's Republican governor came out in support of a measure to issue driver's licenses to immigrants without proper papers.
"Are you the governor of the people or the governor of the illegals?" an angry resident wrote to Jeb Bush.
Another told Bush the bill was "a load of owl poop." A third admonished him that "our citizenry and way of life must be protected from this illegal onslaught."
Within three weeks of its introduction, the 2004 legislation was dead, but, Bush wrote, "the situation of illegal immigrants won't go away."

By 2016 it will have been 32 years since we last voted for a Conservative presidential candidate.
Bush senior squeaked by on Reagan’s coat-tails, and then couldn’t win.
Dole couldn’t win.
Bush II barely squeaked by against Gore and Kerry.
McCain couldn’t win.
Romney couldn’t win.
After seven general elections where Republicans couldn’t win, or couldn’t win decisively against the likes of Gore and Kerry, the Republican party thinks Jeb Bush is the go to guy.
All goes to prove, you can’t fix stupid.
During the Romney campaign, I voiced my opinion that he was just a white version of Obama and I will say the same for Jeb ... middle of the road socialist (if that is possible).
This article looks to me like the leftists are afraid Jeb might take out Hillary. They’re going to do him in first. Good!
Jeb Bush is a Citizen of the World and therefore above such small minded things as patriotism. Kind of like Obama but without the Islam love thing- Jebster loves illegal aliens instead.
You, lowly American citizen, need to understand that your time has come and gone. It’s foreign nationals who are important, and Jeb Bush intends to serve them. So shut up and vote like you’re told. Vote RINO. That’s the ticket.

The Bush family established its pro-illegal-Mexican-open border position a long time ago. This, laced with his support for leftist Common Core, I doubt if Jeb will make it out of the primaries.
