A group of former McDonald's workers is suing the fast-food giant in the United States for alleged racial discrimination and sexual harassment after they were fired from several restaurants in Virginia.
According to the civil rights complaint filed Thursday, workers at franchised restaurants in the southern state of Virginia were "subjected to rampant racial and sexual harassment, committed by the restaurants' highest-ranking supervisors." The lawsuit potentially has broad implications because it contends that McDonald's is responsible for the well-being of workers at all its restaurants, even if they are franchises.
The plaintiffs, nine of whom are black and one Hispanic, allege they were fired because the restaurant, operated by a company called Soweva, wanted to "reduce the number of African-American employees and hire more white employees," the lawsuit states.
"Soweva's supervisors were blunt, telling employees that it was 'too dark' in the restaurants, and that they were going to hire different workers because they 'need to get the ghetto out of the store,'" the complaint adds.
Supervisors repeatedly complained "there are too many black people in the store," the lawsuit alleges.

Fast Food in general has benefited in the Billions from EBT, which we all know has exploded since Obama became president.
I know that Yum Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, etc) accept EBT. Not sure if McDonalds does.

One time I was assigned to find a black multi-felon who reportedly had a pretty strong sexual appetite. Ran all the standard checks, profiled him, ran his criminal history, you name it. I found out he had an usual street name when he was arrested so I did checks online and came up with a Facebook under his street name (confirmed it with other info about him which was referenced in the homepage. I set up a fake Facebook page with some pics of a black female tht matched his “tastes”then added his friends. He later added me but not before I got hundreds of messages from horndog ghettoytes wanting my “digits” and wanting to chat. Man they were relentless. I had to tell them i was attached and relgious to get them to lay off and when I did I had black preacha’s trying to hook up with “me”. Damn I think that’s all they think about. No wonder so many of ‘em are out o work. BTW I did catch the felon after setting up a “date” with him then having a squad car pick him up...lol
I sometimes grab a quick lunch at the nearby Steak And Shake. Some of the gals have been very sullen, and unpleasant to deal with. I put on the charm, and some come around. But the ones who don’t, don’t seem to last long at that franchise. There’s a beautiful Black girl working the counter now. She’s friendly, and her smile lights up the room. Good parenting I’d bet. Were I 40 years younger, I’d be chasing her around the parking lot!
Unfortunately McDonald’s along with the rest of the fast food industry has turned into 100% garbage. It’s not food!
If you give a dam about your health. Avoid these places as much as possible. The important thing is to get your nutrition.

I agree. I went to one not long ago and it was a pleasure eating there. The staff is very friendly, service is great and the food delicious and the place spotless. I’ve been back several times.
