From the article:

He speaks for many pro-lifers I have heard from since late Wednesday night. In the twenty years I have been in politics, I have never heard so much contempt from run of the mill Republican voters. Humorously, people who have for years assailed me for beating up the GOP are now willing to throw up their hands and stay home.

The GOP has some good people in it.

The GOP probably has more good people in it than the demonRAT party.

But, for the most part, the demonRATS and rethuglicans have the same goal, only different means.

I thought Erickson was a “reform the party from within” guy. More and more from that camp are rumbling about third parties.

At some point, you have to acknowledge the lesser evil is still evil.

But still they return predictabl[y] to the GOP for more abuse and disappointment.

Many conservatives act as unwisely and irrationally as battered wives who keep going back for more.

Who we gonna go with? The DEMOCRAT Party???

Not bloody well likely. Here in Pennsyltucky I’ve spent too much of my life watching double-talking Dems like Bob Casey speak loudly about being Pro-Life (yet embracing “economics that work for da WORKIN’ MAN!”) only to get to D.C. and proceed to vote for death like all the other Democrats. Yet little old Catholic ladies keep pulling the lever for these guys. Makes my head want to ‘splode!

The GOP has NEVER been pro-life or conservative in any way, for that matter. Sure there are conservative pro-life Republicans, but the party isn't and never has been.

The GOP treats conservatives, especially those of us who are outspoken about social conservatism, exactly the same way that the Democrats treat minorities. They want us for the votes, but expect us to shut up afterward.

I have no intention of ever voting for a politician again just because of the letter after his or her name. The last presidential election where there was a genuine difference between the candidates was 1984, I can no longer allow myself to believe that ANY of the losing candidates (Dukakis, Bush, Dole, Gore, Kerry, McCain, Romney) would have governed in a way that is discernibly different than the winning candidate. The GOP want EXACTLY THE SAME THING as the Democrats, they both want big government with socialized medicine, out-of-control spending, high taxes, etc.; the only thing they are arguing about is who gets to take the credit for it.

Looks like RedState just threw down the gauntlet. I guess its time to welcome them to the CONSERVATIVE movement. A bit late to the gala, but welcome nonetheless.

This whoring goes both ways, at one very crucial time in recent history one of the players of the so-called Pro-Life movement made a whore out of the Republican Party.

As a result, no other organization can claim as big an effort, and as big a success in forcing ALL Americans to help pay for abortions as can The National Right to Life, NRTL.

They were the organization who blackmailed the House Republicans into voting in favor of ObamaCare on that final, crucial vote. The Republicans were treated no better than a used up whore.

No other organization had as much clout as did NRTL, and no other organization blackmailed the House Republicans on such a wholesale level.

Without NRTL we wouldn’t have ObamaCare, or taxpayers forced to pay for abortions.

NRTL, evil, or just stupid?
