I was born in Hutchinson, Kansas... I am a U.S. Citizen full blown. For 29 years I have lived in Mexico, I acquired permanent residence. The country really has changed because of NAFTA, and the roads are very comparable and in many parts the same category and class of highways. Trucks are modern, I am sure the Mexican drivers and their rigs will do just FINE. And just think J.B. Hunt can send his drivers as well all the way to the border of Guatemala. WELCOME to the New Creation of a Free Market...

I lived in Chihuahua, Chihuahua for 10 years. Yes you are correct about the class of highways in MX. As a matter of fact, I’ll bet that most Northern Mexican highways are superior to all the interstates in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois on any given day.
Still...we know what those trucks bring into the USA via México....mostly trouble.....MHO of course.
