Governor Sarah Palin Issues Strong Response to President Obama’s State of the Union

Governor Sarah Palin issued a strong response to Barack Obama’s State of the Union speech:

Sarah Palin
Politician · 4,499,372 Likes · 18 hrs ·

Despite all the happy talk and rainbow kisses in his second to last State of the Union address, President Obama has utterly failed middle class Americans who are making less and spending more to survive in his economy. And he has no real plan to help them.

I’m no special pleader for the super rich. They can take care of themselves, and Barack Obama has been the friend of every crony capitalist on Wall Street attending his $30,000-a-plate fundraisers. So, it’s really galling to hear this President pretend to care about the little guy.

Let’s be honest. Tinkering in the margins of the tax code isn't going to bring lasting prosperity to America’s middle class. Our tax code needs major reform. Mr. President, if you truly seek equality in the tax code, then let’s talk about a flat tax. Let’s get rid of all the loop holes carved out by the wealthy and politically connected. Bring us together to pass sensible flat tax legislation. Every American will thank you on tax day! The only people who will hate this are those who are benefiting from the current convoluted tax code with its thousands of special interest exemptions and carve-outs. Enough of this faux-populism about taxing the rich while protecting the broken tax code that benefits them. Mr. President, if you truly care about equality and fairness, give us a sensible flat tax.

The tax code isn't the only thing standing in the way of prosperity in America. The middle class needs good paying jobs that can sustain a family. No American should be stuck in a entry level minimum wage job for their entire life. We want Americans to climb the economic ladder, not get stuck on the first rung. To create those good paying jobs, we need to address the problems standing in the way of job creation. We need to replace job-killing legislation like Obamacare, which has failed on every level by making health care more expensive for average Americans while providing them with less choices and worse care. We need to consider the consequences of policies like the 1,200 new regulations the Obama administration rammed through last month in the 15 days right before the new year – regulations that will cost the American taxpayer $181 billion in new fees and further stymie job growth. Ask yourself, is it easier today under Barack Obama’s policies to open a business and hire people or is it harder? ‘Nuff said.

Nothing was said tonight about our staggering $18 trillion national debt, which increased by $7.5 trillion under Obama. Our debt is a ticking time bomb, but for the permanent political class in DC that ticking sound is just ambient noise to lull yourself to sleep. Some of us would like to address the debt before it blows up in our faces. That’s what responsible leaders do. They don’t glibly make promises for more free goodies they know we can’t afford to keep.

I have little hope that we’ll see honest leadership from the White House. Nothing in tonight’s speech indicates that the Obama administration will stop hurting the middle class with its failed policies. (And it was just a bit much to listen to the most polarizing partisan president of our lifetime – who rammed through his signature legislation without any input from the GOP – lecture us about working together now that the GOP controls Congress. Your actions speak so much louder than your words, Mr. President.)

We need to look for new leadership in Congress to put forward a positive agenda of prosperity for every American. Hang in there, America. Real hope for change is just around the corner in 2016.

- Sarah Palin

PS – There’s no need to comment on foreign policy tonight because President Obama essentially didn’t comment on it either. He’s so far over his head with what seems like personal confusion on who the bad guys are and who the good guys are. His foreign policy is so obviously a colossal and dangerous failure that I guess there’s no need to spell it out for everyone. Just watch the news. It’s unraveling daily.

The GOP knows Sarah Palin, and they are seriously not going to hire her, again. Ever.

No American should be stuck in a entry level minimum wage job.. for the real America that's entry level. For Obama it's the target level. How well is he accomplishing his goal?

Middle Class Economics by President Barry "Obama" McEcon

Labor Force Statistics from the Census Bureau Current Population Survey (CPS) and other federal sources. Comparing Obama to other administrations.

The data are annualized except when noted otherwise. All are monthly or quarterly. I use the last month / quarter of the year.

Much of the size of this is taken up by instructions on how to get the sources of the data and much, much more data!

The numbered column headings are for:

  1. Population (omitted)
  2. Civilian noninstitutional population [thousands]
  3. Civilian labor force [thousands]. If omitted hover Col 4. to access
  4. Civilian labor force participation rate
  5. Employed [thousands]
  6. Employment-population ratio
  7. Employed full time (persons who usually work 35 hours or more) [thousands]
  8. Employed part time (persons who usually work less than 35 hours [thousands]. If omitted hover Col 7. to access
  9. Unemployed [thousands]
  10. Unemployed looking for full-time work [thousands]
  11. Unemployment rate
  12. Unemployment rate of the full-time labor force
  13. Not in labor force [thousands]

Taking into account the year preceding the Barry McEcon administration, here is the first six years of the administration using these spread sheet formulas to compute %'s:
(2014 value - 2008 value) / 2008 value

I get

*If you take into account the 2007 number of Employed full time 121621 [thousands] Obama's number would be negative. About all that happened is despite Obama most of the jobs lost in the first few years of his admnistration while he concentrated on destroying our healthcare system were recovered by the end of 2014.

Gee. How come Obama had such big decreases in (Col 9.) Unemployed and (Col 10) Unemployed looking for full-time work? Guess.

Col 11 and Col 12 are the (phony?) Unemployment rate and Unemployment rate of the full-time labor force, respectively. See table for President McEcon's disasters in these categories:

One thing I would love to see in the tax code is:

You can not get more back in your refund than you paid.

Ping to Sarah's Taxed Enough Already List!

Sarah Destroys Ubama in her Response.

But Honestly I was waiting for Ubama to start supporting points from the 1937 Soviet Constitution, he might as well have >:(

Chapter 2:

Article 3. Its fundamental aim being abolition of all exploitation of man by man, complete elimination of the division of society into classes, merciless suppression of the exploiters, socialist organization of society, and victory of socialism in all countries, the Third All-Russia Congress of Soviets of Workers', Soldiers' and Peasants' Deputies further resolves:

Pursuant to the socialization of land, private land ownership is hereby abolished, and all land is proclaimed the property of the entire people and turned over to the working people without any redemption, on the principles of egalitarian land tenure.

All forests, mineral wealth and waters of national importance, as well as all live and dead stock, model estates and agricultural enterprises are proclaimed the property of the nation.

The Soviet laws on workers' control and on the Supreme Economic Council are hereby confirmed in order to guarantee the power of the working people over the exploiters and as a first step towards the complete conversion of factories, mines, railways and other means of production and transportation into the property of the Soviet Workers' and Peasants' Republic.

The Third Congress of Soviets regards as a first blow at international banking, financial capital, the Soviet law on the annulment of loans negotiated by the governments of the tsar, the landlords and the bourgeoisie and expresses confidence that Soviet power will be advancing steadfastly along this road until the complete victory of an international workers' uprising against the rule of capital.

To ensure the sovereign power of the working people and to rule out any possibility of restoration of the power of the exploiters, the arming of the working people, the creation of a socialist Red Army of workers and peasants, and the complete disarming of the propertied classes are hereby decreed.

One of the frequent threats / scare tactics re: Social Security is that the eligibility age would be moved forward. That actually went into effect in 1972 or thereabouts.

Those 'wealthy and politically connected' are the folks who give the fat donations to our 'public servants' who then reward them with tweaks that give them a return of thousands of dollars for every penny 'donated'. Sarah's right - move to a flat tax.

False comparison leading to a conclusion that cannot be supported by any available evidence.

In fact, given that Barack Obama is a non-repentant Marxist, and Senator Ted Cruz is a constitutional conservative, leading the fight for conservative governance, something Walker is not doing, nor Huckabee, Nor Mitt Romney, nor Jeb Bush, Nor Christy, It would only seem to strengthen the reasons to ONLY consider Senator Ted Cruz.

Also, there have been plenty of Governors who have become lousy Presidents exactly because they did not have a fidelity to conservative policy positions, much like Scott Walker.

Really? It was $10 trillion when George W. left office?

Crap.

Like you said, the “Uni-Party.”

I saw a prediction somewhere that the deficit was going up to $27 trillion in the near future. The collapse is coming and it’s not going to be pretty.
