Iran on Monday promised that Hezbollah would deliver crushing response to the Israeli attack over the weekend, which killed six Iranian agents, including a top-level commander, and five Hezbollah members.
The experience of the past shows that the resistance current will give a crushing response to the Zionist regimes terrorist moves with revolutionary determination and in due time and place, Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Irans Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), was quoted as saying.
The Israeli strike came just days after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared that the terror group was preparing for a war in Israels northern Galilee region.
It also occurred just a week after Iranian military leaders announced that they are operating missile sites in Syria, which potentially include a nuclear facility.

The imminent conflict, sooner than later, will put Israel in the most dire straits it has ever had to endure in its history.
January 20, 2015-Times of Israel:Russia and Iran Sign Deal to Widen Military Cooperation
It just so happens that Iran has all of this enriched uranium around. I wonder what happens when one goes off like a firecracker above one of the larger Jewish neighborhood. Not a nuke, but a bunch of radioactive material.
YOu have to wonder if this could be the beginning of the battle of Gog/Mahgog.
Russian intervention was always a concern in the ‘67 and (especially) ‘73 conflicts. I’m sure they have a contingency plan. They have a little experience dealing with bigger opponents. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it was called Operation Sling.
Time for an Israeli nuke test on the Tehran proving ground.
“Not a nuke, but a bunch of radioactive material.”
I can picture Iran giving material to its proxies so the proxies can attack. Iran would attempt to maintain plausible deniability, which would be aided by American denials. But it’s not a good idea from the Iranian perspective to hit with any less than an overwhelming force. The scary part is that Mutual Assured Destruction would not deter people who regularly dress themselves and their children in suicide suits. The former president, Ahmadinejad, began and ended every speech with a prayer for the return of the Mahdi. That’s the equivalent of praying for the apocalypse.
OMG! Will the US have to redeploy James Taylor?!
Send in Yoko Ono.
Israel is armed to the teeth.
Are you mad? Civilized nations don’t torture.
Yes, I was thinking of just that but chose not to express the term.
So go on, Russia and Iran. Gog and Magog. Attack Israel.
I have my Hi-Def large-screen and lots of popcorn just waiting. I hear the light show is going to be spectacular!
8^)
That’s very good intelligence on Israel’s part!
But what would he sing? Israel has no FRIEND in Obama/John F’n Kerry...
This may be playing out like many of those epic fantasy novels where all the prophesies are true and all the forces gather for a climactic final battle. As Gog and Magog assemble the dark forces call forth their Mahdi. Usually, in the stories, the good guys win but only when some seemingly insignificant figure (maybe a Hobbit or a farm boy from some small village) journeys beyond enemy lines to slay the Dark Lord himself.
“Any conflict with Israel will be asymmetrical warfare, nobody has the strength to take on the IDF directly. “
With satellites and other technology, there will be no ground war. Which means missiles and Israel has already withstood thousands of warheads. An Iranian nuke can only be launched against the north because they would never take out Jerusalem. Which means Tel Aviv or Haifa and that would have to come from the sea.
Anywhere else and they would be taking out Arab and Pali populations which goes against the premise of destroying Israel. Maybe they try to take out Dimona.
In saying that, in response Tehran is gone. The oil fields are gone. Wherever the muftis make house is gone. Iran has much more to lose. It becomes even worse Iran launches a nuclear missile and Israel shoots it out of the sky. Then it’s a free shot.
