Michael Moore defended a statement he made on Sunday that "snipers aren't heroes" by refuting the interpretation that he was weighing in on the debate surrounding Clint Eastwood's "American Sniper."
"My dad always said, 'Snipers are cowards. They don't believe in a fair fight. Like someone coming up from behind you and coldcocking you. Just isn't right. It's cowardly to shoot a person in the back,'" Moore wrote on Facebook late Sunday with a link to tweets. "But Deadline Hollwood and the Hollywood Reporter turned that into stories about how I don't like Clint Eastwood's new film, 'American Sniper.' I didn't say a word about 'American Sniper' in my tweets."

Don’t people get it by now? Moore is like all the other gas bags and attention whores out there who have to be outrageous in order to keep their names in the news. Nobody thought about Moore at all until he said this stuff, and his plan to get himself back in the limelight worked. He should be ignored.

I watched a show about Carlos Hapcock a while back.
They told the story of a friendly village with valuable intel assets. The North Vietnamese seized the village and were happily raping, torturing, and killing their way through the population. Brass was willing to call in an airstrike on the village to prevent the intel from falling into enemy hands but gave Hapcock a chance to take out the leadership.
Hapcock took out 4 or 5 of the top Vietnamese officers and the black jammies ran for the hills. It gave American troops a chance to get in and secure the village and the intel which were minutes from being vaporized.
How does a fat ass who belongs on “My 600 pound life” still living? Did he make a deal with the devil, maybe they shook on it..For Commies like Moore, they actually do believe they are middle class..they despise the rich, but they themselves are filthy rich. This schmuck has 10 houses yet he doesn’t consider himself rich..because if he and other rich Hollywood liberals actually admitted they were rich, it would be like admitting they hate themselves

My mother is looking into Moore’s uncle. (she is a member of one of the genealogy sites) He did have an uncle who died in the Philippines in 1945. He was a paratrooper killed at the end of the war.

Where was this douchebag when Spielberg released “Saving Private Ryan”? One of the most memorable characters was Private Jackson, played by Barry Pepper, who was the heroic Bible verse reciting sniper who gave his life in the process of saving possibly hundreds of American lives on the shores at Omaha beach and in the bell tower. Was he a coward too? Someone needs to ask this fat POS that question.

The 1914-18 War was fought between predominantly Christian nations. Brutal as it was, rules were followed. Prisoners on both sides were hospitalized.
Neufeld was rescued in 1898 by Lord Kitchener's British, Egyptian and Black Sudanese troops. The Sudanese cleaned up on the Dervish Islamic remnants. They slaughtered the wounded Dervish. The British press Johnnies embedded with the victorious army protested. They wanted civilized rules.
Neufeld said let them go and minister to the dying Dervish. Their chums will write their obituary. He stated that the Dervish will fight to the death and the kindness of enemies is repaid with treachery and death.
What I am trying to say is that the Taliban and Al Quada cannot be beaten by conventional rules. They do not observe any rules. Moore is applying different standards at different times. To ask the fighting forces to use some sort of rule enacted by some desk bound individual, is utterly ridiculous.
That quivering pallet of pig lard may think its cowardly for a sniper to shoot an enemy in the back, I just think it’s safer.
If you want to make him unhappy just ignore him. Pigs like this just crave attention and will say all sorts of vile things in order to get it.

I have attended far too many military funerals in the past years. I think we should use more bombs and less bullets = less dead Americans.
