Perhaps not. You would think their neighbors in Ghana and Chad could offer some sort of defense help, but maybe everybody is largely poor there. I just read that Libya is considered to be “The Switzerland of the African Continent”.
Saudi Arabia is connected to Libya, but does not seem inclined to help other regions. Why must America always try financially rescuing these areas? Because if we don’t, China or Russia will.
Look for a big hashtag campaign. Michelle Obama will start it and get lots of sympathy from the sycophant media.

There are only about 9000 Boko Haram members, terrorizing millions of civilians. They fight mostly unarmed men, women and children.
They respect only force. They thrive because they rarely encounter force.
We could wipe them out sufficiently if we were willing to do what it takes — which might include carpet-bombing and ignoring collateral damage.
Cameroon should ask the French for some help, they’re quite experienced at dealing with this kind.
