CHICAGO — People who live in Chicago know a few things to be true about their city. Winters are brutal. The architecture is first-rate. The Cubs will lose.
In the last few years, they have confidently added another: The Barack Obama Presidential Library will be built here, Mr. Obama’s adopted hometown.
But as the Obamas and their foundation near a decision on the location of the library — after narrowing the options down to Hawaii, Chicago and New York City — someone in their camp recently let it slip that they are not so pleased with Chicago’s bids.

Who cares? Everything about Obama has been sealed from the public. I’m sure the library will be sealed from the public too. Where else are they going to hide Obama’s history?
The pastor here is about to learn a hard truth about the Obamas and how they reward people who support them.
Oh yep. Hawaii it is.
And they should be happy it’s not going to be there. The library for the worst president in US history is not something you want in your town.
Towns are actually forced to bid on Presidential Shrines?

Did Reagan force Simi Valley to compete for his legacy? Uhm...Nope
Did Nixon make Yerba Linda beg? Well....NO!
Did Ford pass out kneepads for Ann Arbor? It wasn’t kneeded.
Clinton Library in Little Rock? Larry Holmes was at the dedication and his cousin, Mobile Holmes, built it.
Carter was a peach and his pit built in Hotlanta.
LBJ? Made better, faster, stronger and built in a martyrs town named for Steve Austin.
Kennedy? Baked in Boston.
We like Ike and so does his adopted hometown of Abilene. There’s even a song for the place of his adopted home town.
Truman library? Show me...
But, this jackass is making towns and states bid on his identity?
His historical significance to a geography and culture?
WTF does Zoo York have to do with his life?
Ok, maybe, again, maybe...he attended Columbia but his so called history has nothing to do with any place but, Hawaii or Chicago.

Maybe Obama will do the radically unexpected and choose two locations, Hawaii and Chicago, since one location would not be sufficient to contain his greatness. Mega sarcasm alert.
