Yuengling’s president Richard Yuengling Jr. is a GOP activist who supports “right to work” laws barring mandatory union dues and membership. Wolf received major support from organized labor in his campaign. …

The unpopular Republican incumbent refused to step aside despite his toxic approvals showing he’d lose to any Democrat with a pulse. Wolf won’t likely win reelection in 2018, though.

"Damn Corbett for not fighting back."

He fought plenty hard, to be Captain of the Titanic. He needed to step aside a year ago.

RE: “...He fought plenty hard, to be ....”

I get the sarcasm, yeah...

But here’s what pisses me off - HE may have deserved to lose, personally, but we’re going to spend the next couple of years fighting this assclown off and anything stupid democrat/commie policy he tries to shove through. Thankfully, the PA congress is still GOP controlled by a good portion.

Won’t happen.

He won it by a good degree.

We control the state legislature, so he’ll have a difficult time getting anything done.

Good. Gridlock means my wallet is safe.

It’s true, PA doesn’t deserve it, but Corbett was so damn arrogant and refused to see the writing on the wall. The party should’ve met with him privately and informed him they would be looking elsewhere for a nominee (such as Jim Gerlach).

I would have LOVED to see Jimmy Gerlach get the nod. He’s a good man.

Corbett f***ed it up.

PA has no recall laws. You can only impeach the sitting official or they must resign.

Another person I suggested was ex-Gov. Mark Schweiker, who left office quite popular (had he been the nominee against Rendell in 2002, he would’ve won).

I remember him. He was a good guy too.

Took over for Tom Ridge when he went to Homeland Security, if I remember correctly.

It is a mess, all right.

Can Pennsylvanians work together and fix the problem?

I think I ended up around 12th IIRC, It was one of the hardest courses I’d ever encountered. I was 6th I think in Grand Prix standings.

2015 Nats are in NC. We’re driving out to that. I’m trying to get a club formed and have an NV state match out at my place, that’ll give the west another decent Grand Prix venue, and this year they’re scoring grand Prix on a curve.

People had been carping about that since the western shoots are often crazy windy and you’d get situations like where last years best Temecula Challenge score was equal to the worst score for the Good Ole Boys shoot in LA, and Temecula’s 2nd or 3rd place is a 5 time National champion.

It was fun as hell though, and I like road tripping. :-)
