Kelvin Cochran is a decorated firefighter. He is also a devout Christian. He’s a deacon at a Baptist church and also teaches Sunday school. By all accounts – he is a decent and honorable man. And now – he is unemployed.
Cochran, who served seven years as the chief of the Atlanta Fire Departmant lost his job over a book he wrote about biblical morality titled, “Who Told You That You Were Naked?” A small portion of the book contained what critics called homophobic language.

So one can’t have freedom of speech and the first amendment now when it concerns homosexuals, pathetic.
Homosexuals are all about the kind of sex they have and they want us to recognize them as not mentally ill, well not this family.

As the community and area are mostly Christian and mostly not homosexual, I would hope they would rally and recall their Christian-hating Muslim mayor. What a travesty of intolerance to fire the chief for writing a book, especially one involving his religion.

This is about being judged; homosexuals do not want their behavior being seen as immoral, but accepted as “normal." It is all about acceptance, who are you to judge me?” And you see this everywhere in the media; anyone who does not accept homosexuality as an alternative sexual proclivity or valid inclination is condemned as homophobic and hateful--in other words judged as immoral himself. "When there are no absolutes to govern society, society becomes the absolute." Voila! It is now here and can be applied to anything including, marriage, abortion, murder, etc......

They knew the word homosexual years ago had a negative tone and so they took a good word meaning happy etc to use for themselves and thus put a positive tone on themselves.
I have never seen hetro-sexual parades, flags, and pride week and yet the other week my oldest son aged 17 was walking through a town with his girlfriend when a convertible car drove by flying a big rainbow flag and the passenger shouting to everyone lesbian pride and lesbian love.
My son said that he heard others saying negative things about them both, but to do what they did is really pathetic and just demonstrates how mentally sick they are, plus wanting to get in peoples faces.
they are focused primarily....on their homoness...
